Morning,
I am in London tomorrow and Tuesday (for prospective borrower and partner meetings), and have some time spare between 12.30 and 4pm on Tuesday in town before heading off to Gatwick for the flight home.
If any investors would like to meet me for a coffee I would be more than happy to discuss all things MoneyThing present and future or perhaps on the wonderful world of alternative finance in general.
Can meet pretty much anywhere between Hatton Garden & Victoria Station.
Kind regards,
Ed

MoneyThing Ed - just in case you were not aware - regular Thameslink trains run from City Thameslink, Blackfriars or Farringdon to Gatwick, much closer to the City/Hatton Garden.
They are a few minutes' walk from Hatton Garden - City Thameslink is inside Fleet Place on Holborn Viaduct, at the South end of Hatton Garden (just past the Church, opposite Amazon HQ), Farringdon is 3 small blocks East of central Hatton Garden (can't miss it, surrounded by Crossrail construction site).
The entire journey takes under an hour (46-57 minutes), there are around 5 trains per hour at peak times. EG the 16:03 from City Thameslink reaches Gatwick at 16:54 on Tuesday (end destination is Brighton).
It's also ~50% cheaper.
I schlepped to Victoria for years before I figured this out, it has made my life a lot easier.
(There is a large, comfy, meeting-friendly Starbucks with decent wi-fi at the Thameslink, and several other decent options near all 3 stations)

Would have loved to have spent some of it having a chat if I'd known you were there

I am in Dublin on Tuesday and probably Birmingham & Nottingham on Thursday if you happen to be about these parts of the country? (Otherwise I am regularly down in London if you happen to visit again sometime soon). Unfortunately the nature of the business often means that the trips are at short notice. Regards, Ed.

Morning,
I am planning another visit to 'the Mainland' next week if anyone would like to meet up.
I will be flying over to Birmingham AM on Monday (15th) and have some time around 2pm before driving down to London. I am also happy to meet anyone en route to North London on Monday afternoon (M6 & M1).
I will then be in London town all day Tuesday at various meetings but have some time available dotted over the course of the day. I will also be travelling back up to Birmingham Wednesday AM.
Please PM/email me if you are interested in meeting up.
Kind regards,
Ed

Well it wasn't London but darkest Leicestershire where I meet with Ed last night over a drink and pub meal.
My impression of Ed was very favourable and I thoroughly enjoyed the two hours in his company. Ed was a mine of information gently pointing out that the island off the coast at Southampton wasn't the IoM ( as if ) and that the Island was over run by chicken eating Wallabies !
I would urge any Forum Members who have the opportunity to meet up with Ed ... you won't be disappointed.
