With regard to the recent Funding Knight borrower who pretty conclusively misrepresented earnings while obtaining a loan and then going pop, is anyone interested in joining together to make a stand?
We've had mickey takers within Funding Circle who have got away with it - whereas Funding Circle doesn't give a toss, Funding Knight does seem riled and might cooperate if we made a fuss (I haven't asked them).
Would anyone be interested in 'crowdfunding' some sort of action. I'd chuck in £50 with no real expectation that i'd get any money back but I'd like to be part of sending a message to all borrowers on all P2P platforms that we can bite back.
Maybe we could gauge interest/lack of interest in pledging funds by someone (who knows how to do it?) setting up a poll with the wording somesuchlike "how much would you put in to fund some sort of action against the perpetrator of the recent bad FK loan (which should not be named directly or indirectly here).?
Answer thus: I think this is a bad idea I think this is a good idea but won't support it with cash I would pledge £10 I would pledge £25 I would pledge £50 I would pledge more than £50
I have no idea how this would be taken forward even if anyone else thought like me, that there are now half a dozen borrowers who have taken us for a ride and platforms have been unable/unwilling to deal with them.

I'd go £50 on this plan. I got a burnt toe on this investment. Small investors are not the main loosers here as all FK loans are very largely underwritten. But us small fry shouldn't be rolled over either so it would be good to show we have a voice too and lend support if the bigger fish take action..
