AC credits all Faster Payments within an hour, if they're made during working hours, or first thing the next day.

Bank transfers out of hours are credited next business day morning. The account is reconciled regularly throughout the day, and credits made quickly. The only way credits take 'days' is if the reference is not there or is not unique. It takes until next day for details to appear outside of the reference. So it needs to be your account number as ref and it will happen quickly... if you put 'Deposit' or 'Ablrate' as a reference... it doesn't give us too many clues and wont be credited until more details appear and we can identify!
.. and we do make this clear on the deposit page.
Regards Ablrate

The reconciliation seems to be at 5 past the hour. As pepperpot suggests, this is a 24x7x365 process, with only occasional hiccups. Comments from Chris suggest persuading Barclays to let them have api type access to make this work was pretty non trivial. I suspect over time, that will open up though and similar systems become more common.

24/7 for AC, on the hour (credited just after the hour), even in the wee hrs. Withdrawals cut off time is around lunchtime for next (working) day arrival. edit, in response to iren... before someone butted in. That's good to know. It's a long time since I did a transfer outside of working hours, so I'm probably remembering an old process.
