Morning,
We have received a few deposits over the weekend that we are unable to identify since they do not have a reference, have been paid in branch by cash and therefore do not have details of bank account where they were deposited from & they have not instigated the deposit from their MT account.
Please could you let us know if you have believe you have transferred money to us in this way.

Kind regards, Ed Could it be connected with the following? “RESTRICTED ACCESS Your account has been restricted and we can no longer accept deposits as insufficient information has been provided with regard to identification purposes. Please contact support@moneything.com to lift this restriction.” My wife sent a deposit over the weekend but the account now shows the above message regardless of the fact that MT accepted a deposit and investment in May so are there other accounts in a similar situation causing the problem?

If that's the case, why is the account frozen when MT accepted a deposit and investment in May?
Or put another way, MT are not following the rules they claim to follow.

MT will be a lot better when deposits are automated. It's so frustrating to watch the loans disappear whist waiting for deposits to be matched up.

I hardly think that's one of MT's most pressing issues. They're as good as any platform (and a lot better than most) at matching deposits quickly, provided you follow the process

Edit; plus I'm sure that he probably has a life outside work as well. Or at least I sure Hope he does, provided 'We all' give him a chance :-)

I agree. MT seems to have one of the best deposit matching processes. I was on a bus this morning with a very poor signal. Managed to fasterpay money to MT, but before I could get to the MT deposit site to update the deposit tracking. In comes a call from Sianthing smacking my wrist for not putting in the deposit tracker early enough. So far, I have not missed a loan as a result of MT not matching deposits early enough. Well done MoneyThing

I made a deposit just before this afternoons loans went live and it took less that 5 minutes to be confirmed. Of course after normal office hours it may take longer

I have been in since the very early days and have never had any issues with deposits or withdrawals , I have never seen the need to deposit money out of hours as there is never normally anything happening then.

Re MT's post about online banking - I am finding Lloyds online is operating very slowly this morning - perhaps there is a widespread problem due to a single glitch somewhere.
