Hello, Are there someone who actively investing through savingstream.co.uk marketplace. Could you explain why the most voted P2P lending platform was savingstream.co.uk and how they are better than others. I am new there and I would like to choose which platform I have to use. Thanks In summary: very simple proposition, 12% from the moment you invest, all asset-backed property loans up to 70%LTV, 6 - 12 months term (although loans are often extended), highly liquid SM so you can sell on pretty much anything within days (often within seconds) without penalty. Suggest you browse the SS board where you will learn a lot more detail.

Thanks My advice would be - don't use just one platform, Savingstream is a good starting point but diversification is the key, not just between loans but across platforms. Even if you're just dipping your toe in the water choose 4 or 5 platforms and invest a little in each. I use (Not in any particular order) Moneything, Ablrate, Savingstream, Funding Secure, Funding Empire, Property Moose and Assetz Capital

Partly flavour of the month - it's still in the honeymoon period where lenders will forgive its failings (such as the website regularly melting down before they introduced pre-funding).
Otherwise, simple proposition, asset backed loans at a highish rate, deal flow a little low but better than many longer established platforms, overall business said to be profitable (though I'm not sure how what proportion is made as an intermediary), engages with lenders, currently highly liquid (because lender demand exceeds supply).

I will try to remember to repeat this poll again in the autumn of 2016 to see if the response is any different.
It is interesting to note that of the "big three" companies, only RateSetter featured highly in the vote this year.

As an extension to this poll, perhaps people would like to vote for Altfi.com's 'The 2015 People's Choice Award': www.altfi.com/awards/2015_peoples_choice_voteObviously I'd appreciate votes for RateSetter, but I also recognise this poll has shown some strong support for SavingStream, MoneyThing and Assetz. RateSetter won this award last year and I'm very grateful. Perhaps if we win again I can post-bribe you all with some new mugs that have recently arrived! For reasons I won't bore you with, they might become collectors items one day.... The poll does closes today, so please dive in asap. Kevin.

I see lots of sites I've never heard of, but no sign of Money Thing or Saving Stream. RS easy victory then; westonkev have you nobbled the poll!

I would put more trust in the People's Choice than in the other categories having seen that Bondora won the EU award last year.

Collectors items!! You had me worried about RS's future for a second. You got my vote again this year, please may I have my mug sir? The mugs are currently under embargo.... under investigation as part of "mug-gate". As soon as they are released, I'll put some up for auction or as bribe payment thanks to forumites for positive RateSetter quotes or proof they voted for us.....

I think it might be a case that we are not in the list since we only launched in February? (Looks like I will have to get some mugs produced for next year's poll!).
