The boss is running with this one. I am not sure what is decided but probably fastest finger first (simply because I don't think it will fill in ten seconds). I'll discuss on Monday with him.

With the amortising bottling loan now live, what sort of timetable might there be for the ability to buy and sell amortising loans again on the secondary market?
It would be a good idea to mention the security or at least that this is a secured loan on the initial loan description page.

Thanks James. I am continuing to fight the good fight with the developers. Realistically I hope a week or so tops rather than weeks or months... but I am dependent on a third party! We know the calculations, it is just a matter of modifying the rather complex code.

Congratulations on having three new loans running, all different. It's just good to see and worth commenting on.

On the boxes, as the pledges are over 200%, is it safe to assume that you will effectively get less than half your bid?
Not complaining mind, just making sure I understand.

I won't give too much info but suffice to say that some people don't read the "Don't pledge more than £1,000 or I'll ignore it and just count it as £1,000" instruction....

My guess is that by the time it closes £500 will be a safe maximum - but personally I fund it fully and will shift the excess into the ATR.

I have reliable information that at least one of them knows the rules and is just playing around while there's money in the account... Andy's post does mean that the allocations might not be as cut back as currently looks to be the case, but I'm assuming that there might well be more pledges closer to the end time.

I must admit it would be very nice to get some form of positive confirmation that the pledge has gone through.... Fingers crossed.

Do you have the dates for the next available loans? Ablrate, I've looked through past threads, rather than start a new one. cpaken asked on the Nov 15, 2015, the above question, which IMHO, appears pertinent today. Hopefully the answer will be, soon.

Next week hopefully, see here. Thanks archie, I missed that posting from ablrate. I have been focused on keeping up with the Tour De France... We have today been reviewing the logs and gaining a picture of what happened against what was expected. We are also building something that replicates the bidding activity, so we can test the various solutions we are looking at. This is the first thing to address so we are working on that. With the bid sizes and equitable split of loans we are reviewing some ideas which could be applied to smaller loans.. the simple solution is more origination... which we are working on of course but we have a few ideas we are mulling over and will let you know when we have narrowed them down. First is the concurrent issue... which basically in unacceptable and needs dealing with, so it's all hands on deck to sort that. There are loans coming up next week so we will be working on a fix before those launch. GREAT NEWS ablrate.

Question for me is can I be bothered to transfer into my Ablrate account, be on line when the loan goes live, still get nothing half hour later when the loan is filled and then wait a few days for my funds to transfer back to my bank ? Last loan was £300,000 with £3,000 limit, new loan is £500,000 with £5,000 limit - would I expect this to disappear just as quick in a frenzy of crashed cars (apt?) and unable to place alerts......... Would it be worth lowering the limit ablrate (and is ablrateandy still around ?)
