Some of the high rollers from SS may be unaware of an SS sized deal on MoneyThing here: p2pindependentforum.com/thread/3731/mt282-mt283

Also, for those unaware, MT are committed to launching their Secondary Market functionality within the next 10 days or so. It sounds like it will operate much like the SS one (all sales at par, no selling fees, partial sales permitted), however we're told that interest will still be earned whilst parts are listed for sale.

I took a look at it, and the CB is nice, but given that it's on essentially the same development as the SS loan feel I have enough exposure already....

Good point, though that would mean I'd have to set up an account on MT and I am not sure I want to.....

I opened an account on MT and switched some of my existing SS investment in the same development scheme. Motivation was to get some more platform diversification. The 1.5% is a bonus, not the primary reason for me. I also wanted to do my bit to help MT get their business to the next level so that we have another strong platform available going forward.

No reason not to, IMO - one of the better asset-backed lending sites, with customer service very impressive. Even if this loan doesn't fill and Ed doesn't magic up some underwriters, there's a decent pipeline of partners. And anyone that sells on SS should be able to get back in there (if necessary) given the healthy pipeline of loans on SS too.

i would endorse all the positive comments made about MT. An excellent platform that deserves support.

I like SS and I like MT; they are my two preferred platforms. My investments would be much the poorer if one of them wasn't there

I would like to invest in MT but nothing has sold on SM in the last few hours. What's happened?

I would like to invest in MT but nothing has sold on SM in the last few hours. What's happened? Well there's nothing showing as available for sale on the SM at the moment. Are the loanparts you're looking to offload still listed in your "Selling Loanparts" page and, if so, are they showing 100% sold? From other posts, it sounds like some sales are getting "stuck" once fully sold, needing an email to SS to free up the resulting cash...

I would like to invest in MT but nothing has sold on SM in the last few hours. What's happened? If the OP is correct, that there is no SM on MT, then it's not surprising that nothing has sold on it! ps I'm dizzy - I thought I was on the SS board.
