Bit of a problem with loans renewed today. If you've sold some on the SM recently you'll find the loans have been renewed for your previous holdings amount, and available funds removed.
MT are aware and are working on a fix.
New loan due this afternoon may be postponed if not sorted quickly.

and if you bought those parts to top up your own investments, only your original purchase is being renewed and the balance returned to your account.
I have emailed support but no reply yet.

New loan may be postponed if not sorted quickly. I assume you mean the new "renewal" loans might be postponed. There's no reason to delay the new Broadoak loan as that one will almost certainly take several days to fill completely (given its size and the 10% rate).

Personally, I think it would be prudent to postpone while a fairly major financial IT error is rectified.

I agree. Put trading on hold until problem is rectified otherwise the number of corrections required will just keep on increasing and account status will become more confused.

The number of affected accounts won't be enormous. I wondered whether this scenario might cause problems the other day: p2pindependentforum.com/post/81266/thread

Yes, given the nature of the problem, people may be trying to sell parts they have no rights to, and/or bought by others with money they have no right to... MoneyThing you really should suspend the market (assuming Shuang remembered to code such a button)

Will this effect the loans on the PM? From the email We are aware of the issue that many have experienced with today's loan renewals whereby the renewal has defaulted back to the original investment without taking into consideration any purchases or sales on the secondary market. We are working on fixing this and will be in contact in due course with an update. Renewals MT218-MT225 were scheduled to go live at 3pm have now been pushed back to 4.10pm. These loans are currently off the pending loan tab but will be available to view shortly. So looks like have just removed those completely for time being and see what happens

Renewals (and new loan) have gone live. Sadly, the previous problems have not been fixed. Very sad for MT...

Hopefully not too many people affected and that they can unravel the affected transactions in a reasonable timeframe.
