I have yet to have eBidPal make a purchase for me. Does it actually work yet does anybody know?
There doesn't seem to be a way of switching it on and off.
Is saving the settings meant to make eBidPal operational? If so this should be made clear and there should be a warning and yes and no, or go and cancel, buttons. I do not expect things to happen without my consent.
Bizarrely, you cannot change eBidPal settings or switch it off when you have no available funds. This seems deliberate! Presumably this means that when funds do become available they will be invested in loans you do not want. A particular problem if you ever want to withdraw funds. It looks like you never could. Presumably this is not legal and needs fixing immediately.

Yes, it works very well. To turn it off you uncheck for all the different loan types. This is the default setting. Clicking 'save' means it'll be operating with whatever settings you've saved. Given the default is everything turned off, you have to go in to it, actively check the loans you want and how much you want to bid per loan, then click save. This hardly seems to be 'without ... consent'. I'm sure Lee from emoney will be along to correct anything I've got wrong, and talk you through it a bit more gently. He's often on here.

We disagree about what saving something means. By your definition saving an email you were writing, for example, would cause it to be sent.
Of more concern to me though is not being able to get funds out because of the bug that means I cannot switch off autoinvesting when I have all funds invested. Or perhaps I am expected to sit waiting until funds become available then jump in and disable eBidPal before it has chance to reinvest them, if that is even possible.

I think it would be better if you answered my questions out in the open where everybody can benefit from the answers. Free exchange of information is what these forums are all about I'm told.
For anybody else who is suffering from the bug where eBidPal cannot be stopped when you are fully invested (so you cannot withdraw your money because it is immediately reinvested), try this. It's not foolproof but if you are lucky it can work.
1. Use the Sell button under My Loans and put a small part of a loan up for sale at a discount at a time when the site it likely to be busy.
2. On the eMicroLoans page wait for the small loan part to appear then keep hitting refresh (F5) on your browser waiting for the loan to be bought.
3. As quickly as you can go to the Set eBidPal NOW page. If the tickboxes are not immediately visible keep hitting F5 until they appear. You should now be able to untick all the tickboxes and click Save.
4. You can now withdraw your money at your leisure, as it becomes available.
5. Remember never to use eBidPal again to avoid getting stuck in the same situation.
I hope this information is useful.
