How many people does finstar employ? Have you, has anybody seen their accounts? Do you understand their history (gambling and slot machines in Russia I think)? Forbes magazine says finstar.com/english/media/document227.phtml

Apologies for the delay, shimself ! For precise numbers on Finstar's financials and staff - that would be a question to direct towards them. In this case, Finstar was the bigger party coming in and partnering with us, not the other way around. All I can say is that the company employs many times more people than we do, thus having much longer history and more experience. They also have a considerable portfolio of various assets and companies they have acquired stakes in. As for the article you pointed out - it dates back to 2008 ( www.forbes.com/forbes/2008/0929/078.html), long before the idea about Viventor was even born. While I wouldn't call this information relevant, I also cannot comment anything further on the matter. As you can read on the media, Finstar has set a focus on the field of Fintech, placing a number of investments in promising ventures over the last years. Have a great weekend! Toms

I do not understand the disclaimer at the foot of the page. If there is a buyback guarantee then why can the return not be guaranteed? The statement seems to contradict itself. Hi, our Buyback means that you receive back the principal in case of a borrower default/Buyback Guarantee being exercised. In that case, you don't lose your money, but don't generate return either. The disclaimer is giving you a heads up that, as with any type of investing, you have certain risks. "In that case, you don't lose your money, but don't generate return either." Really? I have understood in buyback scenario investor get back principal and interest. From FAQ: "Loans listed come with a Buyback Guarantee. This means that in case a borrower should delay the repayments for 60 days, the respective loan originator will offer the investors to buy back their shares at the purchasing price, also paying accrued interest and the late fee."

Thanks I'm curious, what you are finding worth buying on the SM? I have never seen anything on the SM that is more than 0% return. The "best" I see have a 1% premium on loans lasting less than a month (i.e. making a loss).

I think it's time I start putting all of my loans on the SM with 1% premium.

As far as i am aware the discount / premium is just the SELLING price and NOT the interest rate. Correct me if i am wrong!! Now if i am right then there seem to be a whole herd of numpties going around buying on the SM at a premium!!

A 12% loan earns 1%/month. A 1 month loan with a premium of 1% will earn you exactly 0€/month. If there are 20 days left, you won't have enough time to earn you 1% premium back and would lose money.

I was right. NUMPTIES buying on the SM at a premium. Why, for god's sake?
There are better returns on Mintos with discount or at par! Why not move there?

It's Viventors fault really. Most platforms with any sort of moral compass automatically remove negative interest loans from the SM and many will show you your actual return taking into account the premium/discount.

So, getting no new loans via autoinvest last couple of weeks. I have Mintos and Fellow finance as well as Euro investment. Give Viventor some more time or move money. What Euro platform do you recommend in that case? One of my existing or some other?

I spent 15 months investing in Viventor, an average of 5000 euros, obtaining an 11.5% return, but in July I decided to buy a house and decided to put my loans on sale in the secondary market, I managed to recover a good part of my money, but on July 2 there is a reimbursement of 1000 euros that have not yet arrived, I have contacted several times with them and the same answer, "we are sorry, I comment it to the corresponding department".At 21 days they found the fault and they reimbursed what was missing. Be carefull. Attachments:

Any more recent feedback on that PF ?
I am contemplating using it.
Before I was held back by the tax certificate, because that was a pain in the neck, but it seems the situation is now cleared.
So I'd like to hear more about your experience before dipping a toe.
