I noticed that for investing in some loans i just simply come to late. If you don't read your emails every 5 minutes, new proposals might be fully subscribed already before you can react. So I thought i just activate the auto-invest function to avoid this. 2 minutes later i had added to my portfolio loans I was already invested in before. So beware if you activate this function. If anyone has good ideas on how to set he parameters to invest only in new proposals, i'm grateful for any hints.

Have not used it and except for rare occasions (small loans) and tranche B's I have never had an issue getting what I want. Still not quite sure why tranche B's fly of the self and the tranche A hang around

Still not quite sure why tranche B's fly of the self and the tranche A hang around Because no-one's lost any money (yet) so a lot of people will just look for the best rates without worrying so much about the risk Although in my case (almost all of mine are Bs) I choose not to worry about "safer" tranches as LendInvest is only a relatively small part of my p2p pot and I mitigate the risk through loan/platform diversification

B's have a higher interest rate due to their second bite rather than A's first bite. I am going to start weighting it 66% B and 33% A on loans where both are available just to get the extra %.

If anyone has good ideas on how to set he parameters to invest only in new proposals, i'm grateful for any hints. Hi. I am a new investor with LendInvest and noticed a few new loans today. I had auto-invest set but nothing was selected. I pinged the online chat (which is VERY responsive) to find out why. It was because I had 1-3 years set instead of <12 months. I changed this and got investment in loans I already had instead of the new ones. I queried this and was told that a-i is not clever enough to know what you are already invested in. So, this seems a limitation of the software at present. I also asked if there was a way to view current loans and see which you are already invested in. Again this is not possible at present. I assume the software will gradually morph to handle these features.

A while ago I requested they add an indication to the current loans to show if you have already invested in any tranche of the loan. They said they would pass on the feedback.
