My account history, click on show filters, select interest repayments, set a from date, then to date. Click on search. Now download into spread sheet, and sum the interest payment column. Just in case your manual notes fail. Results might be 1p out due to rounding. Took me longer to type the post to the forum than to find Decembers interest paid. Thank you for your very quick post. It is, as you said, extremely easy to find total paid interest for the month. How do you calculate how much December interest was what you 'earned' above the accrued interest you already purchased across many individual loan parts on the SM? Edit - to clarify, my first investment is recorded as 49.97 for 50.00 whereas I need to know that it was discounted and included 0.40 interest bought in that month's interest. (I'm a non-tax payer and am only interested in my return on total purchase costs.) Whilst I have to waste time on FS I can at least glean this across My Current Investments, Investment History and Account Movements; for ABL I can't even see this information is available. The accrued interest is a different problem, has been asked for already - some thread on the tax calculations. I don't know if it's available. However I do keep records, and the e-mails from ALB, with subject "Ablrate - you have been matched to offers" contained the accrued interest. So yes in this case I keep a record in my own spreadsheet. There is a filter for accrued interest just no data. This comes down to if ABL recorded the accrued interest amount and it can't be seen, if it's there in another database table then it should be possible to join two tables together to get the accrued interest and interest. There is a basic principal either the accrued interest is recorded or there is a mean to recalculate, you never throw information away from financial transactions. If email sent are kept then, ABL could scan e-mails (record keeping / backups). For Trade Date, Loan ID, Accrued Interest plus e-mail address for the user id. To create/recreate the database table. Same way I could select and export e-mails then scan my e-mails for the fields. Could, I don't have enough to warrant that effort myself. Here a simple start. $ awk -F ": " '/(Trade Date|Loan ID|Accrued Interest)/ {print $2}' Ablrate\ -\ you\ have\ been\ matched\ to\ offers.eml 20/12/2016 21:24 1000017 £0.05 Just exported one SM trade email...

It is good that we have finally got an Excel download feature. Is there any chance of there being a unique data field referencing the loan. At the moment all we have is a free-form Transactions Comments field where sometimes for a given loan the transactions are described by the asset subject to the loan and other times the borrower. ablrate , to reiterate meledor 's request, can we PLEASE have an extra column showing loan number in the transactions statement (or, at the very least, included loan number in every "Comments" description). It drives me potty trying to work out which of the three identically-named "Secured Property" loans a particular SM transaction relates to!!

The withdrawing form doesn't round down the available balance like the main screens, so it can say that .03 is available while the main screens say .02 and .02 is the actual maximum.

I've just spent ages trying to track down the identity of some payments in my Financial Account list. LW

Just encountered a makework message: "You need to cancel your Offers on this loan before you can sell to a bid". What on earth is the point of making people cancel offers to sell in order to sell to a bid?
I've quite often considerd selling to bids that were realistic when I've also had offers around, it's a pretty natural thing to consider doing.
In this case I decided it wasn't worth the extra work and just abandoned the transaction.

In this case I decided it wasn't worth the extra work and just abandoned the transaction. Because the system currently doesn't match bids and offers at the same level, which it will.... but the main reason is that this is a quick fix for those situations where someone has an offer up and they sell to a bid, reducing the amount of loan they hold below the level of the offer.... this would stall the system as someone looking to buy offers would not be able to because the system would through up an error. We are working on some subtle changes to the SM that avoid this kind of thing. Regards Ablrate

If a person tries to buy more than the seller's holding the obvious thing to do is reduce the amount offered to the holding size when that is noticed. Problem solved. Better still, validate the offers when a relevant transaction happens as well, so "false" offers for too much don't stick around. Instead Ablrate has added makework in the form of forcing offers on amortising loans to be recreated every month and now this. Both adding more regular work in the vast majority of cases where there is no problem instead of dealing with the problem once it becomes relevant.
Any thoughts on when those two bits of makework might be replaced by solving the underlying problem?

Yes, may be some residual probs with amortising loans, have raised a query on some recent purchases. As SteveT says, loan number in transaction data required to distinguish APF loan parts for example. Looking forward to Interest Bought filter - last month's rec working out how much was premium / interest bought / interest earned across multiple SM parts/emails & then tie back to Dashboard a bit painful!

Can we please have "Loan Number" added to the "Active Bids, Offers & Pledges" pages (and anywhere else that "Loan Number" isn't yet shown)? Thanks.

The Loan Number has been added ... Also a big step forward. I like the ambition of the 7 digit expansion capacity How long until we get to the 2's, I wonder... Can I suggest: a) That field be titled consistently as "Loan" across the various pages (it is already called "Loan" on Current Investments but called "Listing Title" on Secondary Market) b) The sorting logic of that field becomes a numerical sort by the loan number, rather than alphabetically sorting by loan name.Flagging again the request for the "Listing Title" field (aka. "Loan") to sort by loan number rather than alphabetically. Thanks
