Morning,
Following on from the 'How old?' thread, I have been looking at our data again and have been rather surprised by the statistics of our 1,171 lender base with regards to female vs male split.
As a light hearted thread with another change to win a chocolate bar (and a shameless way to get the word 'sex' in a thread to guarantee to boost the post/view count), I thought I would ask whether someone could predict the % (to one decimal place), of female lenders with MoneyThing?
[One vote per forum member and guesses to be submitted by 12pm Friday]
Kind regards,
Ed

Morning. The former please. E.g. 39.7% of all lenders are women. Thanks, Ed.

Ohhh great, I spot a chance to explore my pedantry again ( it could make 0.000001% difference so important!) How are we dealing with strange people who invest as a man, for a woman in her account and then throw in a Ltd Co for good measure? 14% women ( 86% men) plus or minus 0.000001%

We have only been able to go on the registered name on the account to which we have undertaken AML/CT checks. Again, if the person has registered as a company it will be based on the director who has registered on behalf of the company. Regards, Ed.

Ed's probably confusing what sex a person has with what their gender is
I'm going with 10% gay, 3% bisexual and 25% female.
