I might have thought summer was the racing season, so if for sale to the next tier why wait until autumn? The domestic season varies where you are in the world. If a car meets domestic regulations and there is a series for it to run in it could end up anywhere. That said, winter is often an intensive maintenance period - time to get to strip down everything and get to know the vehicle.

MoneyThing Morning Thingies, Ed, should the original loan to this venture (MTAJ346), the Ferrari 355, get the RCC pre-fix?

I've been track racing on and off for 35 years and this is the first time I've ever been able to keep up with a Panoz

So, RCC565, a Panoz Esperante GTLM GT2 Race Car, has repaid early, at the same time as an FS loan secured on the same model car has filled......and at a higher rate too! What does the future hold for RCC as a long term borrower? Recent extentions have been for three months only, so, with the assumption that there was no information prior to today's email that I've missed (not unknown), perhaps MoneyThing might like to offer 'clarification' in order that lenders don't have to search for lines (imaginary, or otherwise) to read between!

Afternoon ianj, To answer your question; firstly, RCC are sensibly looking to branch out to source funding from more than one provider. Secondly, having been lending against race cars for a while now, we have recently made the decision that we would no longer lend against race cars going forwards. RCC will continue to be a borrower with MT for some time to come. (No lines to read between ) Kind regards, Ed

Redemption requires another lender or borrower funds to be in place; default should not be ignored as with all secured lending.
