Hello Collateral Rep - I sent a request to withdraw my account's funds on Monday 29th rather than deposit anything into it, however it's still not come into my bank account today. Is there a delay on this too?

Hi excelwizard , Could you email your details to info@collateraluk.com as we don't know who you are from this username. All transactions have experienced a delay over the weekend. Deposits have been authorised this morning. Many thanks, Gordon

My early Sunday morning deposit took almost exactly 24 hours to reach Collateral; another deposit this morning landed within a few minutes. This experience (along with the missed investment opportunities yesterday) has been a powerful reminder how important swift and efficient money transfer arrangements are in the p2p world.

How long does it typically take for accounts to be credited: minutes, hours or days? Is there any daily cut-off etc? Just about to make my first deposit so trying to set my expectations!

My experience is minutes, although their new account seems a bit slower to me. I did once have to wait about two hours though - apparently they were all in a meeting .

Afternoon nick, Our main hours are from 8AM until 7:30PM where we constantly monitor deposits, which we do manually. However we also keep an eye on deposits from as early as 6AM until gone 10:30PM, but not as frequently. Another factor is the time it takes for the banks to confirm deposits which is out of our control, some banks take longer than others. Hope this helps, Gordon

I made a deposit at approx. 08:52 this morning and it was credited before the 9am renewals, I was suitably impressed.

Evening nick, To add to this, sometimes investors forget to send the Collateral Notification from their dashboard, which we need to process the deposits. Also, at the weekend we don't have fixed hours, we just take it in turn to keep an eye on the banking. Many thanks, Gordon

Over the past few weeks mine have been credited within a few minutes, ie under five, and usually under a minute and I'm suitably impressed.

COL are the fastest in the universe. The other day I added some £ and did the transfer and then went onto the website to fill in the notification of deposit form and then I took a pause to have a sip of tea or scratch my arm or something and by the time I had refreshed the screen the funds were available for lending and I was able to grab beauties offering between 12 and 14 percent.
The challenge I have with this platform is finding the self-confidence to increase my stake because there are opportunities there at amazing rates of interest at the moment and why not, but on the other hand there is that understandable caution in the back of my mind about a newish platform and not knowing the ins and outs of the big Chiefs behind it all.

It's not just the quick deposits which are impressive. This week I had an urgent need for £1000 to help someone out and I knew which platform to turn to. It took only half an hour to sell some loans and have the funds in my bank account. My spare cash will be coming here.

There was a lenders' visit reported on here with a platform q&a, worth a look.

Not happy this morning. Quite a lot of jewellery. Bought with my total available balance. Transfered some more. Informed collateral. Refreshed screen, ready to buy some more. Still sitting waiting as jewellery disappears. :-( Edit: In at last. Managed to get some more, but definitely missed some. In fairness, it took about 25 minutes. However, we have been spoiled recently with deposits within a couple of minutes. Much faster than most platforms.

Morning geraldine1210, I've processed your deposit. We do try to keep an eye on the bank as much as possible but at this time of the morning it is less frequent. Apologies, Gordon

Apologies, Gordon Apology not needed, Gordon. It was still very fast. See my post above, which I edited to show the arrival of the deposit. It was nice to see a different class of loan, even if only on the sm. Please collateral, may we have some more jewellery loans?
