Not got an email either but the value on this must be pretty accurate, as they repaid last time and did not run to the hills laughing.

25/05/18 11 hours ago The separate transaction referred to below is still ongoing but is now scheduled to complete in the first week of June. 30/04/2018 Borrower has a separate transaction ongoing which will yield sufficient to renew the loan. Unfortunately this has been delayed until mid-May. 18/03/2018 The update remains as before. We expect interest in the next 1-2 weeks.
12/03/2018 We continue to be in touch with the borrower and are anticipating receiving interest in the next 1-2 weeks. 21/02/2018 We have been in touch with the borrower and are expecting interest on this loan to be paid in the next few days. Can >>>> road ..anyone ?

Very glad I only sunk a few quid into FS. Waste of time and money.

Not really concerned about this one. The borrower has settled / paid interest on 9 previous loans and they've often run beyond the original term whilst other deals completed. He appears to use the collection as collateral for other dealings. I'll be happy enough if he opts to renew instead, as has happened before.

These Other Dealings must be humungously lucrative, the interest this geezer/ette keeps paying is eye-watering given the number of times they've Renewed?

Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of movement in this, was one of my first investments. So far it hasn't proved to be one of the best, but there's still time.....

well we have heard all this before and this has been going on since February
I invested in this one as this chap is incredibly skilled and his work extremely popular and expensive. I just don't see the problem - in fact I am sure all it would take is a few phone calls to the trade in order to get our money back...

Could it be that FS don't want to lose the borrower as a future customer? Cut a lot of slack and don't sell the assets to retain business?

Update just posted on this one...at end of October they now expect "there will be sufficient to pay interest and part of the capital."

Note that old chestnut, quoted verbatim no doubt " at end of October they now expect" ..Y'rite..lenders have been expecting interest since February and still nothing..whelk stall diplomacy Well I'll be glad to see the interest (3 figures) as I don't normally lend my money not to receive any interest, however of even more importance to me is the money lent (4 figures). Wouldn't it have allayed concern somewhat for FS to have been more specific with that figure ?..Id be a lot happier if the loan amount reduced, with the added benefit of reducing the rate of accruing interest..seems to me the borrower has got off lightly. The term of the agreed loan was for 183 days..and here we are at 411 . Charity begins at home..not Stokenchurch. In this situation the risk factor hasn't reduced one iota !

This is billed as 27% LTV. If that’s anything but wildly inaccurate our investment should be safe. Why are FS allowing us to be strung along, why not just auction off the asset? There’s been enough tolerance shown.
