... so I just checked, and my 5.8% order from 10th April has been nobbled to 5.7% (O101206606813) without my authority, and so I reset it by hand. My 5.9% is still where it was, feeling optimistic Never have I seen such a thing happen before. Who tweaked something on Friday and went home? Hmmm?

There's little to worry about, this time. It's probably a precursor to what may happen when the system has been fully taken over by some shifty git in need of a few million of our 'investments'. Aka "City Boys"

Hello guys, yes I am usually lurking! There was an IT change on Sunday, and there will be a RateSetter communication coming today. I can't go into detail (because I don't know the detail). But rest assured there is no nobbling, thieving or "city boys" in action.

ehhmm not very good this. First time I've had a gripe with RS. Annoying as I have some cash to invest today.

Let 'em get into the office and give them a while, chaps. (By the way, I've dropped down the queue again, by £10K.....but there's only £2K listed in the rate below me! So some hamster still thinks the original 5.8% is there but is putting new 5.7% cash ahead of it, but in the false 5.7% pot.........or summat))

Today's payments are available to recycle now. Mine aren't**, but they only come to about £8!! And 'm falling further and further back (£40K*) in the false 5.7% queue (when I was at £10K) despite almost no 5.6% appearing so the hamster thinks I'm in the 5.8 when I'm displayed in the 5.7!! *I'm down to £80K in that queue now - but there's still only 4.5K in the real 5.6% 09:52. I reckon I should be at about £10K into the real 5.8% queue (order dated 10 April) not the current one which has orders later than mine - including some manually change after le cocup. ** Yes they are! 12:56 Just noticed that although my orders are showing in the 5.7% queue, when I look at changing the order, it still shows as 5.8%, which means that my 5.8% orders are actually going to be lent out from the 5.7% queue - which is to my advantage...... isn't it? I don't think you'll see money sent over the weekend till tomorrow. AIUI it is always 'next day' so yours is effectively Monday money which will appear Tuesday.

Well my first bit of the false 5.7% has just been lent out at 5.8%; the rest is in its correct place in queues now.

Well they seem to have mopped up the mess. After it's little adventure my money has now been lent at 5.8 as instructed.
Can we expect a statement from RS? Possibly not, I guess they are just hoping that it will all pass over without too much fuss; and all is well that ends well. Well I at least have no complaints, but I do wonder about those at the front of the 5.8 queue when it was all shifted.

A statement by email will be going to those "impacted" and I'll copy it here. Everything is working, some people's orders that covered Saturday into Sunday (when an upgrade related to fee categorisation was implemented) would have seen a different number due to rounding of AER calculations, mainly for the 5-yr market. Rest assured financially there is no impact, any orders placed at 5.8% will get exactly the same interest despite the "false" reported matching rate (as old grumpy's experience) that for some might have looked 0.1% less. In summary, it's linked to rounding when the AER is calculated backwards from the placed order to that matched.
