I definitely think a lower bid limit is required, but does it need to be as low as £25. Would £50 not give everyone that wants some, a bite at the cherry?

Pending page Invested column now updated - Renew status 'processed' - Like It ! FYI - Shuang has just managed to release some code so that it is now possible to view your existing holding on the Pending page. Regards, Ed.

I think a lower limit is fair to all, even though I'm ultimately aiming for larger loan shares and less of them.
I have a feeling Ed will have a good idea of demand based on the amount of accounts being pre-funded, clearly there is more than 57k gone in to the platform today!

Disappointed if the limit changes as i have now funded my a/c and wifes, and sold other loans to do so.
Would be ok if there had been more notice, but 3 hours before is a little poor.

Whereas I've just cancelled my alarm - £250 was worth my time, £25 isn't.

It is a little disappointing for all of us who've done the same, but when you look at the funds that are available in each renewal, with the bid limit at £250 it is unlikely that anyone but the fastest of fingers will get any anyway. On the flipside, as far as I'm concerned, my small amount of disappointment is massively outweighed by the confidence inspired seeing Ed, at the top of this thread, putting his hands up to say ' I've messed up' (paraphrasing) - a rare thing these days. If this had been advised yesterday then i have no problem, but with less than 3 hours to the go live its not really on. Yesterdays car loan took around 1 1/2 hour to go at a similar value. More disappointed that i have sold other loans which i cannot get back into, and will now just have cash siting in my a/c I guess there will always be a unhappy few

I'm not sure why the decision to lower the bid limit wasn't taken this morning, when it was known exactly how much had been rolled over, and therefore how much availability remained. Whilst I like the fact that MT involve us forum-members in how the platform is run, I feel that constantly reacting to what is being said here rather than thinking things through and making a reasoned decision at the outset doesn't always give the best impression.
Going forwards, can I suggest that for all roll-over loans, no bid limit is announced until the availability is known? This would still give us time to fund our accounts and place our bids.

MoneyThing your punishment will be to buy some chocolates (/biscuits / cheese / whatever) for the poor Thing that has to process all the subsequent withdrawals.

Whereas I've just cancelled my alarm - £250 was worth my time, £25 isn't. I'll just have to try and get 9 x £25 = £225 to augment my rollover investment.
