Hello? ablrate ? Are you still busy finding a solution to make sure that nobody loses out? You haven't replied to my entirely reasonable request for information above. Disappointing. Please can you provide an update? Yes, he still seeks the Holy Grail. The quest is neither easy nor short.

Please can you provide an update? This is indeed disappointing. Have you tried phoning them and asking for an update? I'm minded to do so later today. Ablrate have been my P2P platform of choice for the past couple of years - principally because they are one of the few actually making me money - as opposed to Collateral, Lendy, Funding Secure etc, but I do worry that they are now growing too big and becoming remote from small investors. We are all mindful of David's promise that no investor would lose out on this defaulted loan and given the size of the original loan I don't think that it would be beyond Ablrate's resources - they are consistently profitable as David likes to remind us - to at least make some goodwill payments against the loan whilst we all wait the eventual outcome of the court case....

Please can you provide an update? And on this loan Abl appear to have been at fault in not ensuring that they had control of the security asset.

And a rather tardy update considering when the court hearing took place.

Thanks. I need a link as it's not listed under existing loans. There are links to all (most) ABLrate loans in the first post of the pegged thread titled "Ablrate Loan Book" in the ABLrate board here: p2pindependentforum.com/post/240960/threadYou need to be logged in for the links to work.

From the email update today - 14/1/22 @ 18:15:
I haven't mentioned some loans as they remain in the same status as previously informed, however, when we get material information I will include in an update. I can say that we are getting into a much better position to a) either recover loans that have been hanging around
I assume that the platform has therefore accrued enough profit to make good on their promise to rectify the situation by finding a solution whereby nobody loses out - either by buying us out of our defaulted position, or making an ex-gratia payment.

I trust they will do that, but they won't do it until after the conclusion of any legal proceedings.

What is this update ? Is it only certain loans or for equity investors ?

A progress report in to the winding up is now available at CH. It is interesting that there is a discrepancy as to the reason for the delay to the court hearing last year compared to what the platform had previously told us.
