I am not sure if RS know either. The Statistics page still has 2014-2016 projected defaults of 3.93%, 3.71% & 3.43% (2016). www.ratesetter.com/aboutus/statisticsHow can an lender know which statistics are correct or a reliable guide ? From what I can see RS don't know... Perhaps the delay in publishing the 3.1% is down to them trying to figure that out (or correcting it again) or explaining why 3.1% and the reduced coverage ratio it should produce is okay. They have now changed the graph so it says the expected default rate 3.1 and current default rate is 1.8. They have posted this in a blog reply. I asked them if the recent ft article was accurate. "There is a difference in the longstanding methodology we have used to produce the Expected Loss number on the Provision Fund webpage and the Projected Loss numbers we have recently started to produce in line with requirements of the Peer-to-Peer Finance Association on the Market Data webpage. The Provision Fund calculation is more accurate in that it takes account of the maturity of active loans, rather than treating all loans as new as the Projected Loss figure does. We are reviewing how we provide this data as we understand the importance of clarity and consistency."

RE : The correction to the PF page, projected default rate (the 3.1% v 2.8% rate currently).
==============
Hello, Please accept my apologies for you having to follow up on this. The particular release of updates that the change to the rate was included on had to be postponed due to the need for some further compliance checks. I can confirm that his has now been signed off and having checked with our technical team, I can also confirm that this is due to be released on 16th December. As a courtesy, once it has been updated you can expect to receive an email confirmation from me directly. Equally, if for some reason we have had to delay this pending release I will also let you know by email.
In the meantime if you need to contact me again please don’t hesitate to let me know. Kind regards

The 'volume' page appears to have gone. This used to show the amount in pounds lent out per term for the last 24hrs and 30 days. Quite a slow page to load (I assume due to the database queries) but sort of interesting to spot busy days.
