Morning,
I wanted to ask whether lender's would mind if we put a loan up on a Sunday? We have not done this before, but it would be useful to announce the £600,000 loan today to go live on Sunday so that we can complete on a couple of other drawdowns due to happen on Monday.
We may not need to go down this route as Monday's drawdowns might be delayed until Tuesday but it would be useful to know what lender's views are on weekend loan launches?
Many thanks,
Ed

Personally it works for me... I do all my buying / selling paperwork catch up on a Sunday so will be online on your site anyway.

Works for me as long as I have enough notice to do a deposit today.

In principle OK but I don't have an account with Barclays so I don't know if a BACS would work on a Sunday. I could send from First Direct, Santander, Natwest, Nationwide or TSB (OK I admit it, I am a rate tart.)

I could send from First Direct, Santander, Natwest, Nationwide or TSB (OK I admit it, I am a rate tart.) Both my Lloyds (personal) and Santander (business) accounts send and receive FPs in seconds even at night, over the weekend, bank holidays, etc. The Lloyds account dates transactions for the next working day on the statement, but the funds still move immediately. The Santander account dates them correctly.

Not an issue for me, as long as it isn't at some damn silly hour like 4pm. (just kidding). And as long as the initial bid limit is set such that I don't need an atomic clock and fibre broadband to actually get a bid in (but that's not really a Sunday issue).

Weekends are better for me actually. Sadly, I still need to work on the weekdays.

Thank you for the feedback. If we do it, it will be loan '54)' on the pipeline (£600,000 development loan, 12%, 12 months), with an initial bid restriction of £4,000 so there shouldn't be a rush at 4pm.
Regards,
Ed
