Hi, I am totally new here and would like some help, does Mt have an auto bid option and how quickly can I get money invested, via autobid or secondary market, I take it there is a bidding process to invest? And does the secondary market have much liquidity to sell loans if required?
Thanks Keith

Suitable for you, not really - completely manual, SM generally v liquid with not much avail for long

No auto-bid, just a case of being online when loans are released, larger loans take 24 hours and 1 minute to fill, smaller ones can fill in a few minutes.
SM is pretty liquid, 12/13% loans will sell in a matter of minutes, i've never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for a 10% loan to sell.
The best way to spread your bets is to pre-fund your account on days when big loans are due, there are always people reducing their holdings or selling in preparation for the new loan coming online at 4pm. I've managed to get a decent sum invested in around 20 loans in the two months or so i've been using it

Morning,
For your interest.
In terms of lenders who have registered with us in the last 30 days, the largest lender holding (registered on the 29th September), is just under £60,000 invested across 11 loans.
Kind regards,
Ed

I see. Admittedly, at the moment MT is not really suited to those that wish to invest & forget. However, we do have some ideas on this front post-authorisation. Kind regards, Ed.

Sure. 58.2% of our 2,101 registered lenders are currently invested in at least one loan. Thus, average holding per lender is c. £8,500 (min. £1, max. £645k). Regards, Ed.

I am definitely not the £645k investor! Any takers for MT's best customer?

Hi I did appreciate your recommendations but after looking at the markets I have come to the conclution to get a better rate I will need to invest a little time, I have signed up to MT and will be drip feeding the account with funds and I will just bid small amounts on each loan as it becomes available, I spoke with MT and they we very helpful. Keith OK Good luck - at least with MT we get good info ahead of time on new loans and they always start bang on time so you can easily plan.
