Evening. Update set to be published at 9pm tonight. Regards, Ed. Bug: Site has just started indicating there are new "Unread Updates" although there are no unread updates as this update hasn't been made visible yet. Also, any reason why this update can't be made visible now? (why the 20 min wait?)

Wow, just think of the massive unfair advantage that all Ed's friends got by getting the nod that this was due to be repaid in the next couple of weeks.

So many heckles up at what turns out to be an imminent repayment. Pile in everyone.

If a CEO has a news of interest for investor, he has the moral duty to publish it to the public ASAP, not 10 hours later... (Selective quoting because I have no desire to quote what I consider to be libellous comments.) No, he doesn't. He has an duty (moral and quite possibly legal as well) to publish it to all his lenders at the same time. That may well involve a delay.

I sold some of this loan earlier and have just put most of the rest up for sale on the SM, normally I would take comfort in this update but the borrower does seem to be dithering around quite a lot which doesn't fill me with confidence.

I can say without any doubt that in the past three weeks I have sold more of this loan than is currently available so i'm unsure where your data is coming from, suggest you take more care over your data collection if you wish to use it for anything remotely constructive. Well, good for you. But I plot data related to the average available in a specific timeframe. And the peak you see this afternoon (and still now with over 36k GBP freely available for this loan and total availability for hours) is impossible to see in other occasions. Of course you could scrap 500-1000 every so often, but never a continuos constant and abundant availability like today. Now, you can defend MT as much as you like. I feel the handling of this matter by MT (whatever the announcement is) is PATHETIC. If a CEO has a news of interest for investor, he has the moral duty to publish it to the public ASAP, not 10 hours later (and after maybe spreading it to colleagues and friends and letting them hours of advantage over other lenders). I feel you have gone way over the top. You made claims about other loans news being leaked. Which are you referring to? Ed said a couple of days ago he was considering not posting on here. What would you think if an update was published without checking the facts. How do you know what time the borrower got back to MT with the information.

We only reported this information late on today having only just received evidence to show that the refinance is imminent. Instructions have already began through solicitors and DS1s have been drafted in anticipation. Regards, Ed.
