Has anybody sold any of this? Any idea why it's not shifting?
It's not a particularly scary-looking loan, the repayments are all green, there's only £6k available, it's not a toxic band (B+) and there's some decent rates available (the parts I'm trying to shift are 12.9-12.95%) - checking availability for the amount I'm listing shows a blended 10.6%.
So how come it seems to be the totally unloved, unsellable loan?

So how come it seems to be the totally unloved, unsellable loan? Easy the absolutely awful design of LC SM; I already have initial parts @ 12.95% & wouldn't mind a few more, even for a Hotel on a remote Scottish Island, as it seems fairly solid. However taking them @ 10.6% is not an attractive option either when compared against other LC loans & especially against the risk/reward balance offered by competitor platforms. Yes it is possible to improve the rate by guessing different amounts but quite frankly life is just too short!

My part sold just under an hour ago. Luck of the draw. Seventeen more to go and I'm free!

E******s - same. P***n - £40, one part, nothing sold. S**n - £40, two parts, one part has sold. and £50 of this one. Plus, of course, our friends L****a and A****o - and, on a happier note, six remainders of shrapnel waiting for the next payment to clear. I didn't get involved in your other stickies. BTW, lionelrichtea, did I mention I hate you...?

It is getting close to 2 months now. I do not think that the loans I hold are bad ones. If it was not for the platform, I would hold them longer.

It's apparent that BECAUSE of the platform you may well have to get used to that idea!
Presuming people would be willing to take a slight hit in order to sell, applying a discount could be used to prioritise sales; enhancing interest rates for buyers wouldn't really be appropriate for the LE, but LC could make it to their and the sellers mutual advantage - but I guess they know better.

Best I can see blended just now is 10.73% and that takes time to play with loan amounts. Shame there doesn't seem to be a way to see your loan parts directly or I'd have bought them. I hesitate to say I don't have any problems with this loan but basically I don't, payments on time and seems a popular hotel so why would that change?

If you could see my loan parts they are currently giving me 12.95% and 12.8%. You will need to explore various values to get the best rate. Even £1 difference can make a significant change in rate. If I had to buy in this loan, these are the rates I am getting at the moment: £20 10.00% £21 11.45% £22 11.45% £23 11.45% £24 11.47% £25 10.58% £26 10.61% £27 10.59% £28 10.57% £29 10.75% £30 10.76% £31 10.72% £32 10.57% £33 10.57% £34 10.60% £35 10.57% £36 10.61% £37 10.65% £38 10.68% £39 10.58% £40 10.57% £41 10.62% £42 10.58% £43 10.59% £44 10.57% £45 10.57% (I will keep updating this up to around £45)This should be enough to show the variations one can get. It would be nice if someone had to repeat the above to see if you get similar or identical results. Please do post anything that can help us understand the murky SM of this platform.
