There has been a large increase of availability of certain loans on the 'SM'. Someone must have dumped their holdings. We are not talking about £1000 but 10s of thousands at least.

With only 8 loan parts left, and 6 already sold this month, I was hoping to get out before Christmas. Fat chance of that now!

I dislike the large amounts dumped by LC friends. They seem to knock out the smaller lenders and don't allow you to diversify given the risk that you are taking.

The recently-activated Scottish furniture co. loan certainly has some questionable activity:
With a couple of days to go in the auction the Bank placed nearly 45% of the request, bringing the total LRBH contribution to nearly 80%, and more to the point leaving barely £6k for everyone else - obviously nothing like enough for new lenders wanting to diversify!
Now, within a couple of weeks the majority of that loan is offered on the SM at a rate below the averaged return - 2 incontrovertible indicators of who is making the listings, which under LC's standard T&Cs would mean a loss after commission on any sales. Given previous protestations of independence, I think lendingcrowd have some explaining to do to about their relationship with these investors.
