Very disappointed today. Loans are few and far between anayway so whe dous come along tou have to drop everyning at 10.0am I log myself in bright and early. The james bond watch pops up and it takes aroung 2 to 3 minutes while its processing. Then i recive a message canoot be processed as ther are no parts left. I never even got the see the other 2 loans. Its becomming poorer and poorer and wondering if its just worth the hassle. Will give it one more go when the next loans come out and it its the same i am done. Have to now draw out my surplus mony

Pretty dire for me too.
It's generally been a bit treacle-like but today the 10.00 slot just froze my browser and then the 10.05 slot tried to do the same but relented after about 30-odd seconds.
Imagine if the rain forest site worked like this on Black Friday?
It is just not good enough in this day and age.

Op, Note the confirm investment button does work (i thought the same) - if you click it it seems nothing happens, but if you scroll down slightly you'll see the processing bar thinking in the background. Takes maybe 30 seconds. It is incredibly slow today though and yeah stalled my browser a few times too. Upgrade time! I got my fill of all three though so happy enough.

You can see the launch times in the pipeline section. Frustratingly I missed out on the watch too, but it was quite a small loan and they vanish instantly. The Range Rover and grouped cars are still up as I write this.

My first bidding today. Bit of an anti-climax... Ditto the above!

Managed to get two of the loans, very slow though particularly for the 10.00 one which I couldn't get.
If there is part of the loan left but less than you asked for I'd rather it just allocated what's left. If you ask again and have to reprocess there won't be any left.
I'd prefer all investments to be whole pounds, pence just causes a mess.
I don't really see why we need the 'Confirm Investment' screen, if you've typed in the amount and processed it that should be enough. In the unlikely event of a mistake it's easy to sell it again.

Despite that I logged in 11:01 and there was nothing apart from 0.1% of the cars.

Morning, We did have an external review done which suggested some changes which the developers implemented resulting in the site performance improving. We are also currently going through a server audit with Security Metrics which at the end will provide as with a PCI Compliance certificate - which means we are secure enough to hold credit card details if required. Like some other platforms, we do use a £159 WordPress framework and theme for the front end, but the investor area is bespoke and not WordPress. Gordon So apparently, they recently had an "external review" which supposedly resulted in "site performance improving"?! Also, still eagerly awaiting the results of the external "security audit" on their website.....

I too thought I'd got a piece of the watch only to be told after "processing" that it was all gone. I'm wondering if the speed and efficiency of the site overall, especially at busy times like this morning, are affected by the necessity to email successful bids right away. Perhaps if there was a delay of an hour the bandwidth and processing power could be better utilised on the bidders trying to get through.

To be fair, if 100 bits of a loan are available and 200 bidders all try to get a slice at the same time, a log-jam is perhaps the likely result. No other place will be experiencing this sudden volume of traffic.

If they removed the unnecessary 'Confirm Investment' stage it would reduce processing overheads and hopefully speed everything up.
