Stiring a thick porridge - to coin a phrase. Bought what I wanted though.

Hmmm. Site timed out for me a few times trying to get onboard today's loan. Thought I wasn't going to make it for a bit. Still seems to be struggling. MT - Would be good to fix this. It knocks confidence a bit, especially for newbies to the platform. Not really a reason for this to be timing out IMO - There probably not more than a hundred people hitting it in that short period? PHP/Mysql/Apache/Modest hardware tuned right should be able to handle this (I ran many, many similar servers professionally for over a decade). Otherwise excellent service so far Knackered website can undo a lot of good work though...

/broken record mode on ..
I've said it before, but we really need that 'prefund' facility so the bids can be stacked up over some period larger than 1-30 minutes (and so if demand is too high the maximum bid can be scaled back). This one lasted more than a minute or two, but no way does it appear to be going to make the 24 hour 'intended' window. Getting it wrong the other way results in FFF mayhem when the 24 hours is up. Of course, if people have no confidence that they can buy some at 17:00 then there is going to be a stampede on the doors at 16:00:00 each time.

Just for your info, there were around 550 lenders busy hitting the site at 4pm. Regards, Ed.

Took a couple of failed attempts to log on, got my piece so no complaints but the system is definitely being stretched.
Have to say the 4pm model is a strange one for me, I regularly log on and get what I want and then other days such as tomorrow when I would very much like to be involved but will have no access to the internet at that time I simply miss out.
Seems all a bit hit and miss which is a strange way to be investing as great as MT is ....

This 4pm rush is getting out of hand, 8mins gone, struggling to get logged on and when I do the site crashes before I can invest. Most recently saw only 30% left, starting to wonder if I'll get any!

I don't know much about MT yet, are there bots operating? Seems to be total site overload.

I was on site at 16:00 and clicked on the Wandsworth loan at c16:00:01. After two timeouts I eventually connected with the loan at 16:09 and 72% was gone. Invested. Lucky me?

I know I'm on slow internet, but I was already logged on and couldn't get the invest now button up until 16:11 - less than 20% left by the time I finished. Not a pleasant experience, and I might actually be swaying towards pre-fund as the hassle of transferring money in and out might be less bother.
Think Ed, the Things & Shaung could have saved themselves some trouble over implementing tomorrow's limit!

In terms of traffic volume I think MT may be turning into the new SS. It's selling much quicker than I thought it would.... MoneyThing , I think the masses have discovered you. One of the fruits of the allocation policy. Lots of willing lenders around.

My tablet got in within the first 30seconds. The pc, on which I clicked refresh about 2 seconds later as I missed the button the first time, took about 2min to get to the invest page. Still all done by 3mins past. MoneyThing what was the peak user load on this one, any improvement on 550 for the hearse?

I just tried to get some of what was left at 4.50 and the site was painfully slow, it really needs sorting out.
