Thank you for the instant returns, Ablrate. If these is to be an aircraft loan, I may save up my £9.71 until then. Interesting. I invested £5000 on the 18th and received £9.69 in instant returns but sold some. Wonder if this tells us enough to confirm that the returns were calculated on amount originally invested or not. Not that the odd couple of pence is a big deal, of course. Looks like you received an extra 10p, James. I am sure you can calculate 5 days at 14%.

Thanks westcountry In the absence of an airfix kit from Santa, think that must have been what I was thinking about. Here's the section of the post below, shame its presumably not going ahead now, 12-13% would've been handy: Oct 6, 2016 17:18:03 GMT ablrate said:
It has been suggested that we have this thread to let you know whats in the imminent pipeline: I will reference them so we can follow the thread:
EP2 - Further tranche on Ecoparc with updates on the progress to date. Due to go live next week, still being formulated. (Live)
With the payment due this week on the aircraft loan, we have been asked to extend this, so we will do that when the platforms returns today
AP1 - Aircraft parts company. We have the opportunity to buy aircraft for dismantling and the resale of parts through a 20 year established UK business, we visited, went through their systems and have a video of the facilities (although we will not be getting any Oscars for camera work). Hopefully a live deal on that next week or the following but it's still in structuring. It is a minimum of a 24 month loan, max of 36 months, We are still running the numbers on amortising or IO. Will be min £500k, max £1 million, depending on whether it's one or two aircraft. Will pay circa 12% maybe 13%. (This one is still in the pipeline)
Still working on this. The drop in gbp/usd complicated the one that was in the pipeline.
New Tranche of ACI1 with updates on trading to date: Live today/tomorrow
Leisure Park, £2.2 million first charge, (working to get this up on the platform shortly)

Actually we are still working on this. We have had several meetings to put the deal together. One of the things we are aiming to do is make it a regular product (i.e regular flow of deals to choose from), so we are putting the structure together and the team we would work with (which so far is pretty impressive).. No real time frame at the moment, as the team are working on available aircraft and the analysis involved in which is the best/most secure deal, but rest assured we want to get it done as soon as possible. Regards Ablrate

I'm a bit of a newbie here.
What happens to new loans if they are not fully funded at the end of the 'days remaining' period. I've chipped in a few quid to both the current offerings, but looks like 59 may struggle to get over the line.

Two things historically:
1. Pay instant returns to date and extend the offer time. In the past one loan took a few extensions and Ablrate made periodic payments of the instant returns. 2. Ablrate often has people willing to invest lots of money who they discourage from lending to help grow the customer base. They can let those in.
I expect that these will be filled at or before the end, using that other money to get over the line if needed.
I'm not one of those people but in the past I've put in more than I might have done to help get a loan over the line, knowing I can sell on the secondary market later.

I'm a bit of a newbie here. Keeping on the newbie theme, the cabin loan is fully funded, so what's preventing it from moving off of the new loans page?
