May be too late now, but just before 2pm Rolling was going at 4.4% (or maybe more, perchance I missed the peak).

Thanks for the heads up. 4.5% just now, but by the time I'd got the card in, 33k ahead of me. The book looks really thin compared to what it normally is, for as long as I've looked at it.

Mmmm! I had a bit mopped up at 3.2% this morning, having chickened out of asking for 3.3% The usual RS Bullexcreta on 5 year though. They say Market Rate is 4.8%, but then only actually offer 4.1% this afternoon. Was it 4.5% they actually offered earlier?

Unfortunately my rolling money went in to lots of 12 day loans with values between £20 and £26. Any idea why?

Started throwing money at this at 3.3% and rode the wave all the way to 4.4%, getting about 30 matches along the way. Only one match was a full month loan, the majority being between 10 and 13 days. Still, quite an easy £5.

Well done. I was stupid - Put it all at 4.4 because there was only 2k up to there. Then someone dumped 100k at 3.5 and it was downhil from there. Didn't get a match. Teach me to be greedy...

Its been up and down today, went up t 4.7% then down then up again People throw money in and it drops, its not hard to see if you refresh it enough
In general last few weeks the money incoming to Rs seems to be below the demand for loans so rates are creeping up on all. But you can clearly see that some people will take a rate and move the marketplace again for a period of time rolling was at something like 4.4% and someone dumped iirc £100k at 3.5%
peoples behaviour can seem odd if you don't understand their motivations, that's assuming they are rational in the first place of course

Logged in intending to withdraw some money to find it's been snapped up.
What's the point of the 1yr market?

More certainty (for the borrower, and RS). No recycled capital or interest for the lender to deal with (until it pays back in 1-366 days time).

'Short-term financing' has acquired a new meaning for me after checking that my lots at 4.3% & 4.4% have been snapped for just 3 & 4 days respectively.

Well I just matched over 4% again, which I can stand (even for a week or so). The money way headed for MT or SS, but there is little to buy there at the moment (SS SM seems to have quite a bit of dented stock, but that's all) so I'll take 4% and move it later. The 5 year market however remains deeply unattractive (as much for the sell-out terms as the actual rate). 8<.

I'ts back Just got my 4.4 filled. I don't think I've had as much p2p fun since Zopa stopped allowing you to set your own rates. I need to get out more.
