Started out with mintos a couple of weeks ago and can´t find any information about term lenght and if there is an effect on the interest earned. Lets say for the example that I am using the auto-investor and he has no problem finding me loans for a fixed rate at 12%. Will the money be "idle" between the investments or will the interest start ticking directly?
Example:1 Investment is made in loan 1 for a 12% rate at 30 days. The loan is payed at 30 days and the auto-investor finds a new loan for the same 12% rate and 30 days term.
Example:2 Investment is made in a loan for 60 days for 12% rate.
In example 1 will there be a gap that I don´t earn any interest and thereby making example 2 more lucrative?

True but generally there are always loans to buy on Mintos. The bigger issue is that, the interest rates are generally declining as the amount of investor money grows. Recently it seems to be dropping quite rapidly and has quickly gone from 13.*% to 11.*%. It might be impossible to get a 12% loan after those 30 days and you would have to settle for 11.5% instead. A 2 year loan for 12% now might be unheard of after a year and so that loan will be both a higher earner than those available and also easy to sell.
Of course this assumes the decline will continue. If it doesn't you might be stuck with those until the end unless you sell them for a discount.
