I've been trying to take some of the data in the old loanbook and compare it against the new loan book csv for the whole of my loan book and have noticed a quite a discrepancy between some loans interest rates from the start of 2016.
It seems that for a number of interest rate fields that the rate recorded on the old loanbook csv is quite a bit different to the new loan book data. The largest differences seem to have arisen since January 2016 and are in the region of the following example rate data.
Rate-------OMLB rate
0.0839---- 0.1199
0.0636---- 0.0996
0.0715---- 0.1075
0.0538---- 0.0898
0.0541---- 0.0901
thats basically suggesting that in the old system the rate 3.6 higher than what the new system says.
I'm guessing no one else will of noticed this, it may even be just me. since it started when the new system came on stream not sure if its affecting me or just a blip in the old system data.
any ideas anyone

Old loan book rates seem very high, when were rates at 10%+, Something seems wrong. Ask Zopa I think.

aju what about all those loans that Zopa bought RR from us and then immediately returned at a slightly different rate, as Zopa made some kind of error. I think it affected loans at the start of the year (not sure if it was 2015 or 16) going through to about loan made in the summer, but as the old Z forum is gone I/we can't check that, I wonder if any Zopa staff are around to answer?

Ton ⓉⓞⓃ, I wondered if it was that but as far as I can tell the RR/reloaned items seem to be during 2015 and all errors I am talking about are in 2016 Jan thru to Nov. all the while I am checking this stuff though I'm finding many other weird stuff in the old Loanbook that indicates why they dropped it eventually. I have one record that on a loan of 10000 the fee was 1480 a loan of 16000 with a fee of >3000. My main issue is not the weird stuff but that so many that show a discrepancy of 3.6 and above and looking like a loss to my book. I copied quite a bit of the old forum but not anything alluding to this stuff. I'll leave it a couple of days to see if anyone comes in if not i'll take it to zopa and see what they say. Most of what I am finding is as a result of me trying to reproduce the overview stuff that of the old loanbook the one that details the percentage loaned out on a month basis. Most of it is working as expected but when I tried to overlay my oldbook numbers to my newbook ones and the fact that one I am a .5% bonus early adopter but the new book has no fees showing and the old one has 1% fee in I think its that way round. Its getting late I must go to bed ;-)

Old loan book rates seem very high, when were rates at 10%+, Something seems wrong. Ask Zopa I think. @greenwood2 some of the rates on classic loans in the newbook are from 3.7% to 12.97% during the period od the discrepancies but some of them are higher still. Interestingly the 12.97 is in collections as of 31/1/2017 over the whole of the classic book rates range from 1.44% to 13.75% the lowest in jan/feb this year and the highest in mar 2015, now closed but did pay quite a bit of interest before it closed early. The rates in the oldbook are 1% higher than the new one but that still doesn't account for the real 2.6 skew in so many records. In the region of 101 records are affected by this single 3.6 difference there are many other above that. There are other differences when the only differences I was expecting was 1 due to the way the old had the fees included and new books don;t have the fees. As i said above I think thats right way round.
