The hotel only opened in December this was never going to refinance straight away as a trading history had to be built up. According to press reports over 6 million has been spent in total.

Just been doing some routine DD on some booking websites, the hotel appears to be fully booked this weekend and fully or mostly booked for other random dates in May & June. One site lists it at a 4.7/5 review rating. Another lists it at a 9.3/10 rating and it was booked 5 times in the last 6 hours with only 6 rooms left for next week. So from a brief glance it would seem that building a trading history for the bank is going pretty well so far.

I have also taken a look periodically and this fits with what I have seen. There is a fair amount of variation on the room rates depending on the dates but think that is to be expected. There is also good management engagement with guests via tripadvisor. Overall one of my favourite MT loans. I know it is "only" 11% but I am surprised there has consistently been high SM availability for this loan.

I wonder what the que on the SM would look like if all tranches had been merged in to one? There is zero availability for some tranches and all of my holding for this loan (low 4 figures) is only listed to bag a place in the que - comfortable in the knowledge that I'd very likely be able to buy back in if necessary. I suspect that this is the case for many other investors in this loan.

It's my biggest investment on the site and I can't see a better home for the money at the moment.

If it happens that'll clear out a handy chunk of the SM .. sadly I can't see many great places to re-invest it though ..

The sales queue already seems to be moving at a modest pace, if you believe the update buying for a months interest is probably viable. I will be investing in toilet rolls, given the current craze for ending single use plastics, I foresee paper and card products approaching a steep rise. Might buy and plant some saplings as a longer term investment. Or maybe a cruise to see the Northern lights, decisions, decisions, decisions.
