We report interest earned on the account as we are requested. We are not asked to net off accrued paid, capital gains, losses etc. We are working on adding these in for your use in reporting. We have a large job to reboot the secondary market comments section and the way it works within the DB, so rather than wait for that and have nothing, we have a report of the accrued, interest and losses. Best Ablrate ablrate - Surely "Interest Earned" is "Interest Paid by Borrower" + "Accrued Interest paid to you" - "Accrued Interest paid by you" To quote your Tax Position FAQ If I download a tax statement from the site will it now correctly show the amount of interest I've earned? To produce a figure on which tax is/may be due, will I need to deduct the accrued interest I have purchased and where can I find an accrued interest total other than adding it up from my Trade confirmation emails?

BUMP
This is possible to work out from the downloaded spreadsheet, but would be useful as an auto calculated figure we could more easily refer too

Last time I looked an SM buy resulted in just one spreadsheet line, which did not identify the purchased interest. And the 'total interest earned' figure on the dashboard did include said unspecified purchased interest. Has this changed?

Hi ablrate when will you be adding accrued interest paid on purchases on the SM as this is needed to work out the total interest for peoples tax returns due by the end of the month (for most people)?

There a few issues with previous data and integrating it to the new format. We will be releasing the update this week with the new financial statements (which are MUCH better), but we may have to assist with a more detailed tax report.

This didnt happen and there are 4 days left, 3 working days - this is very disappointing ablrate

The financial statements stuff seems to be holding up the new gui and portfolio loans and the release date keeps getting pushed back. If the end of month is missed, hopefully they will go ahead with gui and new loans and then add the financial statements stuff at a later date when it works.

Personally, I believe that it will all be there and working perfectly on 30th.
