SPV81 and SPV83 are not really dependent on each other as they each hold different properties albeit in the same tower block. The attraction of SPV 81 over SPV 83 is that it holds 4 properties as opposed to 2 properties in SPV 83. This gave much more reassurance about steady performance over the longer term once the initial 30 months guaranteed rent period expired. I increased my holding in SPV81 significantly prior to the close of the secondary market so am rather miffed. PM logic, which I agree with for once, was don't sue the hand that feeds you, i.e. get the guaranteed rent off the developer before you sue them. Now they have an issue - the hand that feeds 83 no longer feeds 81...

Any more news on SPV81? I'm getting a little bit annoyed with all this lack of info and transparency...

Hi guys,
What's with this UK Diversified Property PLC? So my money turned into shares...hmm, what's their plan to turn the shares back into liquidity and pay us back? I'm very confused at this moment...

Hey andycomro you're not the only one that's confused!
Seems to me there is no plan to 'pay us back' - unless you vote to take a sizeable (as yet unknown) hit, and sell out to the new company. If you stay in, my understanding is that our individual shares are pooled, to create a same-for-all share price. Might be wrong on that. How these shares will be traded, and what value they might have (i.e. who will want to buy them), is all unknown to me.
Seems that this new company is to be owned by us the shareholders, and that propertymoose is walking away from it. Unclear to me if the present management of PM will be on the board of this new company or have anything to do with it, or if it is just run by Howard Kennedy law firm.

I'm owed 375 in dividends from this one in guaranteed rental income. Is it worth fighting for this?

hazellend I gave up looking closely at my PM investments (for my mental health) - I would suggest that you have a strong case morally, if not legally (though I think you do), but you would be pushing water uphill with a brush. What is PM worth if you are pursing them, what chance have you against the developer if them? If you do pursue, possibly best to get a group together for some sort of legal challenge (share the financial risk).
