There's currently £238 available at 98% and nothing at smaller discounts .... so for anyone with cash available there is the opportunity for a 1.5% boost (not completely risk free, but nothing in this world is.)

I was thinking the same for the liverpool loan with msg saying repayment upcoming and put £5k... Ended up being suspended Never trust what is said

I bought 5 k at 93% and said I was positive on the loan, but did not encourage others or say that repayment was imminent.

Update on site......this partial payment bit is dragging on a tad No doubt at some point they will decide it might as well just wait till full repayment. Whilst I'm in a moaning mood, just how long is imminent these days (Liverpool interest)?

Emailed MT re the mysterious partial repayment..looking at the last update approx three weeks ago I would have thought something had happened...personally looking for the whole lot to be repaid soon...why isn’t the loan being serviced in the meantime?
I get the feeling that MT seem to forget the interest payments and focus just on the end game ...personally i’d like to see both ..it helps to concentrate the borrowers mind and reduces my risk

There was always a curious undertone on this one, the borrower is obviously well known to the platform. The original rate at 10.5% probably reflected this as much as the quality of the asset. There has been a 2% penalty for quite some time now, arguably overly long and should/would have been ramped up on most other loans.
I don't really have much concern about the loan as such, indeed I have been buying recently on a very small scale (using interest payments, so by default very small)
Like a few other loans currently, updates have been misleadingly optimistic, where the blame for that lies is probably open for debate.

How are people feeling about this one?
This always seemed one of the safer loans to me; loan 70% of the purchase price (although oustanding amount rising with each missed interest payment), borrower with significant personal funds invested, change to planning permission increased the site value to circa £2 million (even sceptics must believe at least some of the uplift in value to be realisable).
Trading at 3.5% discount...
If I wasn't both overexposed and concerned with ongoing platform operations I'd have bought it up.
