My wife and I both have accounts. Both of us had 5 year money loans offered at 5.8%. Yesterday I changed some of her offers to 5.6% and 5.7%.
Today I have 5 year money shifting at 5.8%, but wifey's money at 5.6% and 5.7% hasn't moved.
Why could that be?

I Think this has happenned before, a large order comes in and it is matched (e.g. right now £400k at 6%) whilst earlier fund have been matched, but not completed at lower rates, if your wife is quick she might be able to get in on the 6%, I just did.

Yes - an anomaly! I just put my festering "holding account" repayments into 6%, and immediately got a match in front of the waiting £250,000 6%ers already in the Q. Oooohh! If only I'd waited .... 6.1% was all gobbled up and a bit of 6.2% too.

Yet more matches for me at 5.8%+, but nothing matched at 5.6% in the wife's account. She ain't a happy bunny right now... And now there's £68 offered at 4.5%. is happening on this platform?

When (if) it happens again and there is an offer showing at 6% (or anything above your wife's offer) it might be worth cancelling the 5.8% and making a new one at 6%, thats worked for me twice before, including yesterday. EDIT on the five year rate thread it appears there were some matches at 6.3% last evening.

I just don't understand the queuing system at RS any more. Yesterday evening I had 800 or so in the Rolling queue going nowhere fast so I cancelled it and put it in 5 year at 6.2% when there was only about 10k in the lender queue at 6.2% and the borrower queue was about 20k. My 800 @ 6.2% was still sitting there this morning but other people with 6.3% offers were whooping over their cornflakes. Do RS know I'm considering cutting them out of my will?

Sorry, I just do not understand. Why did My 6% money go before the wife's 5.6%?
why would withdrawing her 5.6% offer and changing it to 6% move her money faster?
Surely, in matching loans to money RS star at he lower offers and work up? Obviously not, so what the heck is happening.

Just be aware, and exploit it - call it "platform DDDDD" - Do daily due diligence Dave, get better deals. There were some this morning who don't bother and were lending out 5yr at 3.5%!! RS won't bother to explain. Kevin had a go once. Just be aware, and exploit it - call it "platform DDDDD" - Do daily due diligence Dave, get better deals. But what is it we need to be aware of to make it happen, please? Example: You notice a substantial "borrower offer" of £80,000 at 6.0% You also notice that there are several lender offers, say £8,000 at 5.7%, £7000 at 5.8% (including yours) and £78 at 5.9% which do not appear to be moving. (These should not even be there if there is a borrower offer above them). Cancel completely your offer of 5.8%, re-offer it at 6.0%, and it will immediately be matched, Q jumping everything at 5.7/5.8/5.9% which is already waiting in the lender offers.
