As I watch the last of MTAT709 being bought by other people, I wonder what happened to the money I sent over to MT yesterday lunchtime. I sent a similar amount to Assetz at the same time and my account was credited within the hour.
Given the slow deal flow at Money Thing I refuse to have large amounts just sitting waiting on zero interest so rely on prompt crediting of my account when there is something to buy. AZ even pays 3.75% while you wait. This is not good enough, MoneyThing.

Morning, Sorry to hear that - we currently do not have any outstanding deposits from lunchtime yesterday which we have been notified of? There is however availability still on this loan so if you would like to PM/call/email us so can look into it straight away. Regards, Ed

Did you forget to enter the deposit on the website? Assetz don't need notification. I did it with Col once but amazingly they gave me a prod within an hour. Did it on FK or FE (can't remember which) once and it was a few days before they noticed.

I found that I sent money to MT and waited a good hour or so, and nothing. I realised I had not confirmed the deposit via their website. When I did this, the money was there in 5mins.

Like you CC, I won’t have money lying idle and leave the transfer into MT until the day a loan goes live as, so far, it has always been credited within minutes, yesterday afternoon was no exception.
Keep up the good work MT!

I've never had to wait more than about 20 minutes for my deposit to show up in my MT account - even on a Sunday or at around midnight.
MT are like a rocket when it comes to speed.

I recently made a deposit at 5:36pm (its now 6:34pm) and the status is shown as pending. I have been spoilt by previous experiences when my account has been credited in minutes. From experience, how quickly are deposits processed on week day evenings?

In another thread Ed recently said: Morning, We typically process payments up until about 9pm (on a less frequent basis after 5pm). We will usually check at around 7.30am and then it gets picked up regularly after 9am. Weekends (and bank holidays), it will get checked 9am to 9pm every few hours (unless of course we launch a loan at the weekend or the bid restriction is lifted). Kind regards, Ed

All should be credited now... get a little tied up in the evenings until 7.30pm-ish until such time as Thing1 & Thing2 are bathed & in bed. Regards, Ed.

Are Thing1 and Thing2 employees of MoneyThing? Unusual names. Good thing IoM doesn't have laws like Germany or Iceland on which names children can be given.
