UPDATE - 31 May 2017
Afternoon,
The NatWest account is now closed, so please ensure future deposits are made to our new Santander account.
As we no longer have access to the NatWest account we will not be able to help with any payments sent there.
Details of the new account can be seen when you login to your Collateral account in the Cashier/Deposit Funds section.
Please continue to use your Collateral ID as your payment reference so we can identify and process your bank transfers as usual.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
Kind regards,
The Collateral Team

Still showing the old details for me (to barclays?). Hurry up and wait :-) ? Try clearing your browser cache? I've already made a successful trial deposit to the new Santander account details.

This is all a bit sudden isn't it? May I ask why there was no advance warning? Sudden moves like this can raise concerns.

Morning jcm9000, We've never had a Barclays account, so I suspect your looking at your own bank account at the top. Our new Santander account details are below this. Many thanks, Gordon

Morning runtley, This hasn't been sudden for us but we didn't want to announce it early in case it caused confusion. It's all ready working fine and deposits and withdrawals are being processed as usual but via our new Santander account instead of the old NatWest account. Nothing to be concerned with and we still have the NatWest account open for a while in case any payments are made to that account. Many thanks, Gordon

Collateral Rep I've just deleted the old bank details from my Lloyds account and tried to set up a new recipient with your Santander details. However, after completing the transaction, a message came on screen saying they won't be able to make this payment until they speak to me. Has anyone else had a problem that you know of?

Hi bonfemme, No other reports if this issue, I presume it must be a security process with your bank. Thanks, Gordon

If it's any help lloyds have an automated security/check system which can throw up some very random checks. A quick phone call will usualy sort it out provided you ring from your registered number. I also use lloyds and the changeover worked fine for me.

Morning jcm9000 , We've never had a Barclays account, so I suspect your looking at your own bank account at the top. Our new Santander account details are below this. Many thanks, Gordon

I also use lloyds and the changeover worked fine for me. Yes, but I'd already completed the mobile security code verification etc, etc. Unfortunately a quick phone call didn't sort it out as the phone advisor couldn't help and had to transfer me to their security section. After being on hold for 25 minutes (very unusual wait with Lloyds), I finally got through to someone who asked me an unusual number of personal security questions to be able to speak with me. She then went on to ask how long I'd known this company Collateral; could they have been hacked; could I be sure the email they sent out asking to set up the new account details was genuine and whether I'd spoke to Collateral to confirm the new account details. I then had to log back into Lloyds while talking to them to authorise the payment which has finally been made. A bit of a faff on I have to say for a very small trial deposit of £50, although I completely understand the need for it.

I have tried an initial transfer of £1 at 9:26, then entered the £1 for the deposit on the web site at 9:26 and received the Bank Transfer notice e-mail. Just given up, and was just composing an e-mail, when the deposit notice e-mail arrived at 10:09. That's considerably slower than with the previous bank account.
I done a withdrawal for £1 and will repeat the deposit/withdrawal. Might just be slow the first time or could be delays in the fast transfer.

My test deposit (via Lloyds, set up as a new Payee having deleted the old) went through in seconds and was confirmed by COL within 5 minutes, as per usual.

Brief security check. Did you make a payment for X to Y? Yes. OK- it's released. 30 seconds. Kinda reassuring to know the system is monitoring for unusual activity and intervening with proactive checks where appropriate. Pound a minute for me to receive calls. 50 pennies a small price for peace of mind. Edit - your 1st MT toe-dip new2?
