Just spent quarter of an hour taking to a friendly Irish girl at Lloyds bank after trying to set up a new Collateral payment instruction. Apparently the security check was triggered because there was already one for Collateral, and a common scam is being told bank details have changed. Checked me out for laundering and ID security, and why I am changing the payment details i.e am I certain the new ones are not a scam. ... and while I was typing that, the payment (to Santander)was acknowledged by Collateral

Hmm, I updated to the new bank details and sent £10 as a test maybe 45 minutes ago - with no signs yet compared, to the previously always speedy mechanism. I'm guessing it may be just a little late in the day, anyone else have comments about speed of deposit comparisons? A pity, I wanted to snag some more of the 14% stuff. Collateral Rep should we see the same response as before? Since I'm sending from Santander as well, I assumed it would be faster, if any change at all. YES, transferred spondoolies @ 17:07 from my Santander account and still waiting @ 19:07, not as lightning as we're used to.............. PS: No rhyme or reason to it, transferred a token test amount earlier today and happened with the usual rapidity PPS: Not happy now, missed out on a bit more of Chelsea PPPS: It ain't happening COLL?!!!!!

Hi dermot, We're just monitoring the deposits at the moment, but it may be down to new payee's etc. We'll have a better idea in a couple of days how it compares. Many thanks, Gordon

Mine was the usual greased lightening, but I had done a test run yesterday, no bank problems my end, but it did take about 5 mins to arrive at the time.

Many thanks, Gordon Hmm, well over an hour now - I did send the payment a few minutes before doing the notification on your web page (which is the reverse of my usual practice) might that have confused things? While I'd quite like to invest more than £10 into the 14% loans, I don't want to hurl more cash into the outer darkness of the internet without a working test first ...

Hi dermot, It might be as others have commented that as you all ready had a Collateral payee set up. Hopefully once the first payment is made any further payments go through as quick as before. We did receive lot's of small deposits and withdrawals yesterday and earlier today, which I presume was to set new account details up. I'd be interested to know if anyone sent another payment in and if the speed was any better etc? Many thanks, Gordon

I did the switch yesterday. The test payment of £1 - a strongly recommended test! - triggered a bank security call as others have mentioned followed by immediate - and I mean that - payment. The succeeding two payments were received by Collateral within 10 minutes of my initiating the transfers at my bank. All as it should be.

Collateral Rep - how long will you be monitoring the Nat West account for incoming payments ? And how frequently ? (once a day ? once a week ? ) I'm out of the UK at present without access to the electronic dongle I need to create a new payment destination.

Evening,
I can assure you we are still working and checking the Notifications and Deposits.
The issue with processing payments is down to the speed of the bank transfers into our Client account.
We'll carry on checking and hopefully all deposits will arrive shortly.
Many thanks,
Gordon

Seems odd that some people are seeing fast transfers, others of us not.
I would have thought that Santander - to - Santander would be fastest.
I did the usual two factor authentication dance when I set up the new payee, and that went without fuss, so I am puzzled.

Ah, I just threw another £15 in and the original £10 came through almost immediately - now to see how long that second payment takes. Edit: that £15 took 20 minutes, but 2 hours-plus and the next few hundred quid is still sitting in limbo - clearly there is something odd going on if payments are going through in such a random way. Not going to put the several £K in until I'm a bit more confident. Oh well, I suppose I might be able to pick up a bit more of the 13% on MT instead, if I'm lucky. Any further thoughts Collateral Rep ?

Seems Lloyds are very cautious, as I had the same treatment as oldgrumpy, probably the same Irish girl.
OH's 'sant' went straight through!
All showing up now though.
