I have amended the listing to read "...in Boll******, a town situated on the south-western edge of the Peak District."
Regards,
Ed

Brochure states 'Nestled close to the western fringes of the Peak District'. That sounds pretty accurate to me. It is about a mile from the national park boundary.

On this loan, the first 3 months interest only is held on account (and presumably paid out monthly in the normal way). Thereafter, interest accrues. So what happens if I sell a loan part on the SM at, say, the 6-month point, when I will have accrued 3 months worth of interest. Do I retain that accrued interest, to be paid at term? Or something else? Have MoneyThing ever before had a loan with this arrangement? Has the software been tested in this scenario? You'll get the interest monthly for the duration. MT will cover the interest after month 3 until it repays or renews.

No matter as far as I'm concerned, it's a jolly nice part of the world.

I live close to the National Park. Boll****** is close to Macclesfield for shops etc and v close to the park i.e. Buxton. I would have thought that houses in this area would have a premium in the price for location.

Brochure states 'Nestled close to the western fringes of the Peak District'. Nice places are always 'nestled' somewhere.

A few questions from a newbie:
1) What happens if the houses are sold at different times? Do lenders get partial capital repayments when each sale is completed, or does the LTV grow because the borrower has fewer assets left as security?
2) The VR mentions that six deposits have been returned because of construction delays. Are these the same delays that Ed attributed to the time arranging the refinance with MT, or have there been further delays?
3) The houses are due to be sold leasehold. Is the developer flexible to sell freehold if necessary, as recent news stories and at least one major lender's decision not to lend against leasehold houses might make this difficult? What are the developer's current plans for the freehold?
Thanks

Sounds good! I'll move back. Edit Are you sure you didn't mean "blemishes"? Two local jokes:- Q: What is the best view of Woking? A: The one in your rear view mirror. And a War of The Worlds joke, a classic: Q: Why did the aliens choose to land in Woking? A: Because they liked the lack of atmosphere.

One observation - completing the build of 10 houses by Christmas 2017 looks ambitious. (VR - 3 have been partially started and the foundations laid for an additional 3 houses). They must work fast in that part of the world...........

And then what happens if you want to invite a young lady around for dinner? That's what got me into this mess! Sold a sofa, as long as the neighbours don't discover it was me I'll invest at 4pm 12pm. Edit : For the avoidance of any doubt I didn't really sell a sofa that doesn't belong to me, it was a table and chairs.

Yes I hope as many as possible invest in this new 12% loan and make it another big success.
I didn't manage to log on at 12 midday exactly but I realised this one would last a few hours with Ed's carefully set bid restriction limit and so I logged on at the earliest possible opportunity which was at about 12:10 p.m. and invested in this loan. I am sure there will still be some availability tomorrow and there's every chance I might decide to increase my holding.
There's no doubt at all that MT is the place to be.
