If you press the view details button for the transactions, you should get an audit trail of how it arrived at the account balance.

I wonder if it is possible to re-invest a rolled-over loan before MT get the funds into the new one? I did see my capital balance shoot up, and then back down, as loans were rolled over yesterday (but I didn't manage to get any of the excess re-invested before MT did it for me).

I have (accidentally) managed to reproduce this error, at least my partner did. MoneyThing should be on the case. I can see at last one instance (maybe more) where rolling-over loan parts were repaid (thus available funds went up), some of those funds were quickly spent on a tasty SM loan part, and then MT 'rolled over' the total (there were 6 or 8 separate repayments, but just one new debit .. i.e. the parts were consolidated) regardless of the fact that the funds were not there any more. The real issue is that 'available funds' never got corrected, so you wind up sitting there with 'available funds' <> 'balance', which is nonsense .. in her case she has 3 figures of available funds and minus 4 figures of balance. Not sure which one of those she can withdraw .. we won't even go there!! Of course a rollover should be 'atomic' really,, such that the rolling funds never actually show up as 'available' even for a second, much less enough minutes for you to spend them.

Must admit I happened to be logged in during the rollovers this morning and noticed my balance fluctuating. I logged out to avoid spending it.

I think MoneyThing have corrected the 'available funds' to now be the same as 'balance', since my partner is sitting at negative available funds. I expect Ed will have to decide whether to try to sort out the odd few pence interest which will have racked up on the parts she bought without having the funds. I assume further interest/sales/deposits will be applied to reducing the deficit, otherwise MT just re-invented INPL! 8>.

I have an issue that my available funds shows a sum, but when I try to withdraw that sum it says "not enough funds". What is going on there?
