huddlecapital , can you (or anybody else, for that matter) comment on why my withdrawal today from rebuildingsociety.com should have been tagged in my bank statement as coming from "Huddle Capital Client" account? Has Huddle Capital taken over the rebuildingsociety.com operation, by any chance?

If you're not a Huddle Capital investor then you may be unaware that Huddle is an Authorised Representative of Rebs... www.altfi.com/article/3165_new_p2p_business_lender_launches_as_appointed_representativeDoes not explain your bank statement, however.

Kind regards Huddle Capital Just received the email, it's being touted as amortising at 4%age points higher than GeorgeT's usual fare, hope it's as appetising as it sounds and it arrives sooner rather than later.

I'm glad to hear from Huddle again, but certainly won't consider investing until they explain/update on us the ongoing absent final round of H100 credits and (functioning) secondary marketplace. Unless this has been explained on an e-mail I haven't received? (as I seem not to have received the ratesetter related one)

Hello
By way of an update, the final Huddle 100 bonuses have now been paid out. This has been a successful campaign for Huddle Capital, and for Investors too.
Instant returns have also been credited for the last loan.
The current loan on the platform, is 25% subscribed and will close next week. It will be underwritten by the parent company if there is a shortfall - so it is guaranteed to close.
We are in the final process of bringing two more loans on the platform by end of next week. So please look out for that.
You should all be receiving emails from the system. If you feel you are not getting emails, please write into customer support and we will investigate.
Enjoy your weekend.
Huddle Capital Team

Thanks for the update huddlecapital but do you have any news on when the secondary market will be back up and running please? I assume I must value an operational SM more than some and I'm aware there's a school of thought that says an SM is a luxury, but I find the fact that the continued lack of an SM that was brought down for "routine maintenance" 2 weeks ago didn't even warrant a mention in this update quite astonishing personally. To be clear, I can certainly live without it for 2 weeks, my beef is that it doesn't seem a priority to them to resolve, and the lack of apparent interest makes me think this probably isn't the right platform for me. Do they take the same laid-back attitude to registering charges? or dealing with problematic loans?

It's not a good sign but personally I'm far more interested (pun intended) to see what happens, or doesn't, on 10th August - when the 1st interest payment is due. Edit: btw I can't see evidence of a charge on CH.

Since Huddle license the software from Ablrate, Huddle probably have little control over the maintenance or lack of.

Just an assumption, but to employ anyone else to become familiar with and upgrade the software might be difficult/expensive, even if the terms of the licence allowed it. In the dark ages when we licensed software the customer didn't even get the code!

Cannot see abl putting themselves into a position to service the software for a 3rd party. Sold with keys as is I suspect. Huddle could ask its fca policeman for help if it needed to develop the software.
