MoneyThing Browser Extension
I have written a filter browser extension, and there seemed to be interest from others so here it is! I will provide a ongoing support/bugfixing/feature requests, and would be happy to accept improvements/patches. Many thanks to dan1, oldtimer and others for initial testing. Thanks also to MoneyThing for OKing the release! FeaturesLoans available page: * Easily show/hide loans that don't match criteria (e.g. not available, interest rate, investment target, user-customisable filters) * Maximise the table, and hide some columns to improve the number of loans visible at once. Loan page: * Show the investment pane immediately. * Set the investment textbox to a suggested investment level. * Focus the price textbox. Known Issues* None reported. Installation Instructions
Quick Version: 1. Install Tampermonkey: * Chrome: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tampermonkey/dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo* Firefox: addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tampermonkey/?src=ss** If you need help, refer to the excellent instructions by 0risk to do this: p2pindependentforum.com/thread/7539/lendy-browser-extensions-filter-loans2. Then install the MoneyThing browser extension: * Visit github.com/moogman/p2p-userscripts/tree/master/scripts/moneything* Click install. Usage Instructions
* Click "Show at-target" to toggle filtering on/off. * Click "Options" to change your filter options - Investment target, minimum interest rate, etc. Feel free to to the author if you like what you see! :-) Attachments:

Version 0.1
Loans available page: * The checkbox 'Show at-target' will show/hide loans that don't match criteria: - Investment target hit (Default £200). Will it do this across multiple tranches?

Not currently I'm afraid. Time-dependent, I will look to add this in (perhaps as well as across the same borrower too), as I find I'm doing this in my head manually anyway.

/Mod hat on
Thread has been pinned, so we can all find it in future. NB this does not constitute any kind of 'staff approval' .. as with all code/extensions/etc from the WWW, use at your own risk (and beware of any sort of 'auto update'!)

I would personally prefer people keep auto-update enabled as it will ensure you get new features and bugfixes. There are no user-editable options within the script (And I'll do my best to merge any edits into the filter as quick as is feasible). From a security perspective however, do think carefully about how much trust you want to hand over to me/the forum/github by (1) enabling autoupdate and (2) installing the script in the first place - It is prudent to do so and I certainly won't be offended :-).

Moogman, thanks so much for writing this MoneyThing browser extension - I'm finding it really useful :-)
I'm afraid I have to report a bug with it though :-( Every few times I reload the MoneyThing loans page, the browser extension doesn't hide the unwanted loans, but shows all the loans.
Please would you be able to see if you can fix this problem?

hi moogman any chance of reducing this gap after please read on asset detail View Attachmentthanks Hi there, The browser can't fit everything in cleanly so it squashes some rows in the table, leaving the table row taller in height. Could you send me a screenshot snippet showing the entire row? Secondly, have you hidden the renew column (via the options) as this should help these cases.

I am puzzled why Moneything have approved the release of this. AIUI, a feature of the extension/script modification is that it shortens Moneything's own buying process and provides a means of one-click buying at the instant a loan becomes available, therefore giving investors who choose to install the new modification an advantage in buying loans. Why would Moneything knowingly approve a modification which advantages one group of investors over another? Does anyone have an explanation? Or have I misunderstood this?

Why would Moneything knowingly approve a modification which advantages one group of investors over another? Does anyone have an explanation? Or have I misunderstood this? For clarity, MoneyThing have OK'd the release but that doesn't mean they approve/recommend/condone the extension. The feature you refer to is auto-calculating how much one should buy of a particular loan. This was added more as a convenience (saves my brain power), rather than to have an extreme edge over anyone else. I don't believe it speeds things up a lot more than using a quicker PC (vs a tablet), using the internet (vs calling your broker), manually hitting refresh and having quick hands etc. My view: I'm attempting to level the playing field for those that are not as technically inclined, when compared to other techies that have written their own filters and/or trading bots. Hopefully this is helping more people than it's hindering!
