I assume the answer to this question is 'yes' given previous comments, but does anyone here see the value of continuing to hold these loans on MT? I've held them up until now, but with less than a month to run assuming the re-financing comes off, and a tidal wave of red flags being raised about the car financing industry in general, is there the value in waiting to find out the gripping finale? Given their track record I'd still expect MT to come through, but nevertheless to me it just seems like quite a reasonable amount of risk to be taking for very little reward at this stage, given a swift exit at par can be easily achieved. I am not writing this to try and buy more AE loans MoneyThing - any news on the refinance that you can share with us?

what is the problem with car financing industry in general? Sub-prime. They have been lending money to people who will struggle to pay it back. 2008 allover again.

These AE grouped asset loans are one of my favourites on the platform.
It's difficult to see where the money is coming from to repay them all in one go.

Evening, We've been kept in the loop on the progress of the refinance over the last few months. We had sight of the offer letter a few weeks ago and I spoke with AE today to get an update. They are on track to repay on time and are in the final stages of completing the legal and compliance due diligence. Obviously nothing is guaranteed until it's done, but looking good so far. Kind regards Sophie

There is going to be a lot of money looking for new homes on the 31st. Ideal time for introducing new IFSA ?

Will be interesting to see the effects on SMs of various platforms tho, as there'll be far more than can be absorbed by the current availability on MT.
