Actually it's beautiful in Scotland Tartans, bagpipes, coos (the huggiest living beings on earth; their owners come second, but just). Scotland is warm and cosy! Really! And Edinburgh is the navel of the world. Home of the free. Sounds fantastic. If only there was holiday park I could buy there. I must set aside some time to look for one. I hope some lucky person doesn't beat me to it! 😔

Merely out of interest I was staying on a holiday park in Scotland last week, my God that is a cold windy country. Until the park has been refinanced and I've got my money back you should keep such revelations to yourself - what if a potentially buyer finds out it's cold and windy there??? You are right, I apologise for my unprofessional approach. Let me try and put it right. It was only really cold and windy when it was not raining, and in truth when indoors sitting next to a fire it is totally unnoticeable. Scotland is breath takingly beautiful, in a rugged good grief not another hill sort of way. We had the local beach entirely to ourselves and it was only mildly treacherous to walk on (presumably everybody else was doing the fire thing or had been blown out to sea). On the plus side I really enjoyed it.

flying biting things are all over the uk. I would far rather endure midges than the absolutely evil little b*****s called Blandford fly which reside in parts of Oxfordshire and Dorset.

Moneything don't post here any more... Mostly true, they do however very much read what is posted here and a response often appears on the platform surprisingly quickly if enough interest is shown in a subject.

Although possibly not this week, given it’s the TT Races and so a good opportunity to be anywhere other than the IoM 😉

Come on Things, give us an update. A little bit of good news would go down well.

They were also logged on to the site earlier today so I think it is fair to say that they are reading comments. I do get frustrated with such short notice that a loan isn't going to repay on time. Could it really be so harmful to advise that they are in discussions with the borrower about a potential extension to allow the bond to fill, or for them to propose an alternative exit? I recall that they usually try to leave the Island during the TT (I don't blame them) so perhaps when they are back we can try the reverse of the chocolate competitions of old? One of us to send them a chocolate bar for each time they engage with us or answer a question in a meaningful way?

Part of the FCA regulations require any information passed by MT to be received by the lenders on the platform. As only a small percentage of lenders use the platform, they place all updates on the platform

As only a small percentage of lenders use the platform, they place all updates on the platform I agree with the first part of your statement, but it isn't hard to design a comms strategy that is compliant of the regulations while still engages with those on this forum who's logo they carry. Considering that they don't advertise I'd bet that the very significant proportion of their lender base have come from here so I don't agree with the second part of your statement. Given the dearth of new loans I'd imagine that the thinking is that there is no need to engage via forums like this at present.

I find that if I email them about an update it’s quite often an update appears on their site within the week....i’m selective in my emails...but personally I’m happy with that method rather than them regularly posting on here.

I seem to recall they paid for the logo/donated it to the forum so I personally see no problem with them using it on their website
