[quote Go into one of the individual loan pages and replace the number at the end with the following: BB00375 - 3022 BB00508 - 4180 BB00514 - 4221 BB00521 - 4458 BB00534 - 4630 I'm only in one of those thankfully so I've just searched for the rest. star dust - I realise this doesn't address the issue, just thought other users may benefit from the pseudo links Edit: would have save myself a lot of hard work by getting df to look up 4 of the numbers! Sorry can not find it - if I open a random loan I can not change its ID to see other. What am I doing wrong?

You need to open any loan then replace the last four numbers in the url or if you like search bar address with say 3022, (just worked for me)

I think he means change it in the browser address bar at the top of the page. edit: crossed with new2p2p and mickj

Morning,
The way we have it set now is that we cease trading on a defaulted loan, only those who have invested in a loan can see it.
As we hadn't had a loan default we didn't know how this would work but we have decided to change this, so we will be adding a default tab next week where you will be able to see these loans in the future.
Many thanks,
Gordon

Morning, Just a quick update, as stated in the email sent out on Friday to all investors in these loans, we are meeting with our legals today and will update in the next couple of days via email with our progress in these loans. If you have any urgent questions, please email info@collateraluk.com. Many thanks, Gordon Your email did also state that you'd be giving regular email updates to ALL investors - not just the select few who email you individually with questions! Is it not possible to collate the answers you've given to these individuals over the weekend in relation to these loans, and send an email update out to ALL investors? It seems pretty unfair that some investors who haven't emailed you directly over the weekend are completely in the dark (other than the initial information you provided by email on Friday), where as other investors - who have contacted you individually - have more of an update/clue as to what's going on! - Hardly fair, Gordon! We shouldn't be all having to chase COL individually for the promised "regular updates"!

Gordon... are the cars still available to you, or gone....... We really need an answer to this, COL! I appreciate Gordon may not want to state the answer in a public forum, and that's fine - but COL did promise "regular updates to all investors" in their Friday email so surely this answer could be emailed out to all affected investors this morning?

I wonder if it would help Coll to seek advice from other p2p's with defaulted loans if they have not already done so.

Many thanks, Gordon I'm glad to see that you are planning to do this, as things stand at the moment I think you are potentially missleading some existing and new investors as the defaults are not easily visible to them. Your email did also state that you'd be giving regular email updates to ALL investors - not just the select few who email you individually with questions! Is it not possible to collate the answers you've given to these individuals over the weekend in relation to these loans, and send an email update out to ALL investors? We shouldn't be all having to chase COL individually for the promised "regular updates"! I'm inclined to agree with this, I have held off sending emails to Collateral full of questions as I'd rather they used their time recovering the capital than responding to a barage of individual emails, but I don't think it's appropriate giving a select few investors additional relevant information based on their decision to email or not. I'm sure we all have similar questions, and if you do have relevant information Collateral Rep, you could give out to those of us in these loans, as alleged here - I think a brief email update to all relevant investors would be apposite and may help reduce too many further individual ones. I appreciate that we have been informed we will be getting another update soon, and look forward to that as well

Can this thread be renamed the "Car loans defaulted THREAD TO PESTER COLLATERAL AND DONT LET THEM DO THEIR JOB" thread
Even moderators are adding to the several pages of rather pointless posts here that add.....nothing
Surely we are adults here and not petulant children, realise that no one is being told more than anyone else, CO have said what they are going to do and when, add a moderate amount of patience and got on with your life!

As for "no one is being told more than anyone else" - clearly those who are individually emailing COL are receiving additional information, which other investors in these loans aren't. That's evident from the bits of information users are posting here from their individual responses received from COL. COL would be able to "get on with their job" a lot better if they sent ONE email to ALL affected investors, rather than asking investors to individually contact them with their questions, and then them responding to each of these individually. Surely a bulk email update to all affected investors would save COL a lot of time, and then allow them to focus on dealing with the issue of the liquidation/recovery?
