The stock of vehicles had been removed before collateral were even informed of the insolvency, so when they state they have "taken delivery of some of the vehicles already" .. i wonder how many "Some" is. Removed before CO informed? (Might missed this as trying keep up with 2 threads 😉) M44 is alluding to the fact that there were publicised events/official notifications on 26/6, 3/7, 7/7 yet Coll implied that they had only just found out when they emailed lenders and suspended trading several weeks later. The assumption is that the vehicles were removed prior to this though there isnt any evidence, they could have been removed on the same day as Col found out as the photographic evidence of absence is from the day after Col informed lenders.

I hope/expect collateral can answer my previous request and put this speculation to rest. Have you emailed to ask your question? Because there was a pretty clear implication from Gordon that such questions would go unanswered here.

I would not expect a full response, or an update, till after the meeting with legals mentioned in the copied email. Lots of speculation going on that may, or may not, be fully/ partly correct. That is all it is. Speculation. Dont panic Mr Mainwaring!

I need two replacement peer to peer companies to replace two others for various reasons i have lost faith in , Mt and Col ring my bell, but I need to see their recovery process in action in both before I will invest a penny.AC set the minimum, in my opinion standard required. Its not just allowing the odd borrower to and try to take the mick, more importany the deterrent effect on any lenders intending to take advantage in the future .So i will be watching with interest.

Dont panic Mr Mainwaring! stub8535 I would agree that a full response/update should not be forthcoming at the request of a forumite (Me) My question is simple to collateral "how much of the secured stock have you recovered" A simple answer will maybe put lenders minds at ease as to the prospective outcome of these loans.

I can recommend MT if that helps.

Bold might explain why you havent recieved a response Afternoon, We have been in direct contact with all investors in the loans. Unfortunately we are unable to discuss this on a public forum but will regularly update all investors who have parts in these loans. As the email said, if any investor with loan parts has any questions, please contact us at info@collateraluk.com. Thanks for your understanding in this matter, Gordon

But it doesn't explain why i have had no response to my emails... hence my request's here on the forum. Doesnt it? You said you werent in the loans, therefore why would they respond as they have said they will respond to questions from lenders in the loans. They are probably prioritising those and will get round to courtesy - thanks for the email but ... - responses later. It is after all the weekend and perhaps they are taking some time off watching tennis, the Tour, cricket, GP, having a barbecue, relaxing with family, plotting world domination with Dave, Ed, Liam & Tim etc Edit Oh and youve tagged Peter not Gordon who tends to field the enquires on here

collateral clearly has it's fans, and it uses this forum to it's advantage, i do not therefor think it is unfair to ask collateral for a simple answer to a simple question... On this forum.

The issue of a platforms avoiding discussing something in legals is widespread and correct from a legal counsel point of view to prevent prejudice. I am not going to post in a public place, for none investors to see, anything said to me in confidence. I reiterate, please contact the office tomorrow and ask your question martin44
