I was lucky enough to visit and tour the McLaren Facility last summer, and quite impressive it is too! They're involved in a number of laser edge ventures (better than cutting edge ) which earn them lotsa £££££££££££££££s

McClaren is a new issue which starts paying interest today. The company is actually more than just an F1 team and supercar market but is also involved in applying it's automotive technologies into other applications and providing it to other industries which is why the recent stake sale valued the company at £2.4bn (Source: FT 30 June 2017)

Looks like another solid bond choice by the Wisealpha team. Rock solid brand, well capitalised company and a growing market segment, revenue and sales.

Dose anybody know why this bond took a hit with this years call ? I'm interested in what way it took a hit? Priced at 97.5%. I'm still learning bonds but my total gains just don't look very attractive now.

Well yes but you didn’t buy the bond, you bought a wiseAlpha note representing the bond and that is still priced at 101.5 because that’s what WA paid for it. There isn’t a real market on WA. I assume if he tries to sell that note now when they have all been sold he will not get the 101.5 price on the SM

I recently sold a whole bunch of stuff and apart from one, they all sold for exactly the same price as they were bought for. Perhaps these sort of bonds don’t have real-time prices or even daily prices or perhaps WA set the price themselves arbitarily based on something or other. I’ve always been confused about how they are priced to be honest which is one of the reasons I am selling. Proptechfish need only click the sell button to find out what price he might be allowed to sell at without pressing the confirm button and actually selling. I have none left myself and none are currently available to let me discover the current price. thanks -its always interesting to see how someone got on using a part of a platform.I would guess(and that's all it is)that some prices do not change much but the real time falls are on the likes of HOF or New Look etc

I appear to have no sell option You need to send them an email asking for the sell facility to be enabled for your account first. They enabled it for me pretty much immediately without any fuss. I don't know why it's done this way. Edit: Actually, I may have asked for this via the on-line chat thingy - not sure. Yea i've just looked at the FAQ's, way over complicated exit, WA are are seriously sating to diminish in my expectations.
