I use a number of P2P platforms & can say that Growth Street is by far the slowest for deposits to show. At 8am this morning I made a deposit which is still not showing in my account almost five hours later. By contrast MT credits within minutes, RS, AC & LBay within an hour. I do wonder if it's a cynical ploy to cash drag in a market struggling to place new funds.

I did a deposit around 10:30 Sunday, was available around 13:30 same day.
Invested at priority rate - same day.
Maybe I'm lucky (this time).

However, they were fully invested at Priority Rate by 11am the next day.

Problems recently with GS payment provider has led to a delay in processing lender deposits - mine took 2 days instead of the usual 4 hours. Delays now resolved and GS have emailed that they will credit all affected accounts with an amount equal to their market rate for the time that the deposits were delayed. The amounts may be small but it's the thought that counts.  Well done GS. |
