I have been very negative about Ratesetter of late but one thing I have always liked about Ratesetter is getting back both capital and interest every month. Are there other P2P lenders that offer the same money back month by month?

stevepn I don't think so. This is the only site I've found with amortizing loans, that's why I'm still with them (but withdrawing all repayments until rates improve) Edit - you can sometimes find loans like that on FC and Assetz but they aren't the norm and those sites are a lot of work.

Depends on which type of lending you want; RS is unsecured consumer loans as far as I know (don't invest with them personally) but Abl, FC, LC, Rebs all do amortising SME loans & even platforms like AC, MT, L & Col you can do DIY amortising - selling small amounts of capital on SM each month, that assumes continued SM liquidity across your loans.
The much larger benefit IMO is that most of these platform offer double digit returns, so I never quite understand why people stick with RS & the low rates on offer?

stevepn - Growth Street offer 30 day loans with a provision fund. They've had a glut of new investor money and insufficient borrowers to meet demand of late thus driving down rates - see the GS board for plenty of comment. Because they are true 30-day loans rather than the synthetic version dependent on liquidity in the RS marketplace then you should be able to access your cash relatively quickly. It's relatively new and doesn't have the proven track record of RS.

Growth Street currently takes about 3 weeks and climbing to lend out your funds, so 30 day loans are really 51 days with no interest for the first 21 days!. On Priority Rate my previous matches have taken no more than 2-3 days.
